A1&A2班
3月22日下午，华中科技大学汉语学习班A1和A2班的20多名国际学生在韵苑足球场共同参加跳绳和踢毽的友谊比赛。在轻松愉悦的氛围中，国际学生们共同感受中国古人的娱乐方式。
这次友谊比赛主要分为三个环节。首先两个班的老师在教室里对中国传统的娱乐方式—跳绳和踢毽子做了一个简短的介绍，主要讲解了它们的起源、对身体的好处以及我们比赛的形式和规则。20分钟过后，我们有序地组织学生到韵苑足球场。清点完人数后，我们将学生分为了五组，同时给他们8分钟左右的时间进行赛前热身。随即跳绳比赛就正式开始了。首先是每位小组各派一位同学，轮流来跳绳，此活动是想让每位同学都能参与其中。在1分钟这个有限的时间内，大家都拼劲了全力，唯恐落在了其他组的后面，比赛现场相当激烈。第一轮单人比赛全部结束后，大家休息了五分钟，我们接着进行第二轮双人跳绳比赛。可能是大家有各自的文化差异，一开始不太愿意两个人面对面一起跳绳，但是经过老师和小组内部成员协商讨论后，每组派出了两位同学出来应战。第二轮比赛主要是锻炼学生之间的配合与协调能力，每一组的代表们都有自己的方法，比如说“1.2.3开始”、“眼神的交流”“扯着对方的衣角”等等，大家都乐在其中。第三个环节就是一组人围成一个圆圈，用踢的方式将毽子传给下一个同学，依次进行。这轮游戏也是为了加强小组之间的协调能力以及各成员之间的配合能力。有的小组成员可能是第一次见面，可能虽然在一个班，但是彼此之间不太熟悉，但是通过这轮游戏，大家也慢慢熟知起来，对自己的队友有了更多的了解，同时也给予他们更多的耐心，展现了组员之间的友情。
尽管是第一次开展文化活动，经验不是特别足，对学生在游戏中的表现没有很好地把握。但值得庆幸的是，每位同学都玩得很开心。在欢乐的游戏中，我们始终遵循着“游戏第一，比赛第二”的原则，在比赛中体验古人娱乐、竞技方式，同时也加深了他们对中国传统文化的了解与认识。（中英文编辑：杜芷仪&彭亚婷）
On the afternoon of March 22, 2018, more than 20 international students from class A1 and class A2 took part in the friendship competition of skipping rope and kicking shuttlecock together in Yun Yuan football field.
This cultural activity is divided into three parts. First, two classes of teacher made a brief introduction for Chinese traditional form of entertainment, rope skipping and shuttlecock kicking, mainly explained the origin of them, the benefits to the body and the forms and rules of the game. Twenty minutes later, we organized the students to the football field in order. After counting numbers, we divided the students into five groups and gave them eight minutes to warm up before the game. Then the rope skipping race is started formally. First of all, each group chose one student to jump rope in turn, for which everyone could participate in this activity. In the limited time of one minute, everyone has tried their best in order not to fall behind the other groups, and the competition is fierce. After the first round of singles play, we had a five-minute break, and we went on to play the double jump in the second round. It is possible that there is a difference in culture. At first two people were reluctant to jump rope together face to face, but they came out to fight each group after a discussion between the teachers and the members of the group. The second game, mainly is to exercise the student’s cooperation and coordination. The representatives of each other have their own methods, such as “starting after saying 1,2,3”,”making eye contact”, ”tearing partner’s skirts” and so on. Everyone all enjoy it. The third part is a group of people forming a circle, kicking the shuttlecock to the next student, in turn. This activity is also designed to strengthen coordination among groups and the ability to cooperate among members. Some members of one group may meet for the first time. The others are in a class, but are not familiar with each other. However, by this round of games, they are more aware of their teammates as well as giving them more patience, showing friendship among the group members.
Although it is the first time for us to carry out cultural activities, our experience is too deficient to prospect the students’ performance in the activity. But fortunately, everyone had a good time. In the joy of the game, we always followed the principle of "the game first, competition second". In the game we experience the ancient people’s entertainment and competitive ways, but also deepen their understanding and awareness of Chinese traditional culture.
B1班
3月7日下午，在东十二楼412教室，B1班开展了2018年春季学期的第一次班级文化活动。本次活动的主题是“你的国家有‘春节’吗？”。在这次活动上，B1班班主任首先为大家播放了BBC的纪录片《中国春节》（第二集），纪录片主要讲述了中国人过春节的一些习俗。B1班的学生对中国春节非常感兴趣，大家都全神贯注地观看纪录片，并且一直在互相讨论中国人过春节的方式。在观看完纪录片后，班主任还组织全班同学对自己国家的跨年方式进行了讨论。每个同学都介绍了自己的国家在跨年时的风俗习惯，大家都讨论得津津有味。在这场关于跨年文化的讨论会上，每个人都收获颇丰，了解到了许多国家在跨年时的独特跨年方式，并且大家都表达了对下一次文化活动的期待。（中英文编辑：李梦秋）
On the afternoon of March 7, in 412 classroom on the 12th floor of the East, Class B1 carried out the first class cultural activities in the spring semester of 2018. 3月21日下午，在东十二楼412教室，B1班开展了2018年春季学期的第二次班级文化活动。本次活动的主题是“中国传统美食——饺子”。在这次活动上，B1班班主任首先为同学们介绍了什么是饺子，并告诉同学们饺子背后所蕴含的中国传统文化。之后为同学们介绍了包饺子需要用到的材料，还为大家播放了饺子的制作视频。B1班的学生对包饺子非常感兴趣，在包饺子的过程中，大家都非常开心，有的同学包的很好，有的同学不会包，大家都互相帮助，最后每个人都创作出了有着自己独特风格的饺子。在活动的最后，大家一起品尝了自己包的饺子，每个人都对饺子的味道做出了很高的评价，并且表示这次的文化活动非常有意思，大家更加期待下一次的文化活动了。（中英文编辑：李梦秋）

During the process of making dumplings, everyone is very happy. Some classmates package well. Some classmates don't pack. Everyone helps each other. Finally everyone creates Dumplings with their own unique style. At the end of the event, everyone tasted their own dumplings. Everyone commented on the taste of dumplings and expressed that this cultural event was very interesting and everyone looked forward to the next cultural event.

2018年3月7日进行了一次有趣的文化活动课。来自不同国家的国际学生们在老师的指导下完成了京剧脸谱的制作，了解了中国国粹——京剧，知道了在京剧中不同的颜色代表不能的人物性格，领略了京剧的魅力。（中英文编辑：杨益）
An interesting cultural lesson was held in March 7th, 2018. International students from different countries completed the production of Peking Opera Facebook under the guidance of their Chinese teacher. In the class, they knew that different colors in Beijing Opera represent different personalities and appreciate the charm of Beijing opera.
B2&D班
2018年3月23日，国际教育学院汉语班B2班和D班进行了一次动静结合的文化活动课——太极拳教学。在课上，太极拳老师们(何仕轩，朱发文，杨天宇，袁怡欣，曾定康)耐心的教授了国际学生们太极拳的要领，并亲身示范太极拳的招式，学生们看得津津有味，一个个跃跃欲试，在何老师的指导下，同学们能够打出标准的云手、单鞭、野马分鬃等太极招式，艳阳的热情阻挡不了同学们的热爱，一招一式学的分外认真，在这节课上，国际学生们不但领略了不一样的中国文化，也看到了中国人将中国武术与养生相结合的大智慧。（中英文编辑：杨益）
On March 23th, 2018, the class B2 and the class D of the language class of the Institute of international education carried out a Chinese cultural activity——the teaching of TaiJiQuan. In class, TaiJi teachers are patiently to teach the essentials of TaiJiQuan for the international students. Then TaiJi Teachers show the TaiJiQuan movements for the students, the students are eager to learn TaiJiQuan. Under the guidance of teachers, students can do some movements in martial arts of TaiJi. The bright sun does not stop the students' enthusiasm for learning TaiJi, everyone learnt it very seriously. In this lesson, students not only taste different Chinese culture, they also saw the great wisdom of Chinese people combining Chinese martial arts with health preservation.

2018年3月8日周四下午，为帮助国际学生更多的了解中国春节相关文化，18春B3班在东九楼A416以“了解中国-春节”为主题，举办了观看BBC的中国春节纪录片“团圆”。
这次活动一方面是让学生通过影像了解中国春节的饮食文化，一方面也是为了下一次的文化活动做准备。因此学生们都热情满满的观看了本纪录片，期间遇到了不懂的词语主动问了老师，帮助老师更好的了解学生对于中国文化的兴趣所在，有助于接下来的文化活动开展。 学生之间更是互动颇多，促进了不同国家学生之间的友谊，增强了师生情谊，传播了中国春节的饮食文化。（中英文编辑：纵沛珍）

3月2日是中国传统佳节元宵节，为了营造良好的节日文化氛围，丰富国际学生的文化活动内容，加深国际学生对于中国传统文化的了解，2017年3月7日下午四点在东十二教学楼313课室，B4班迎来了本学期第一堂文化活动课——介绍中国传统节日“元宵节”。
本次文化活动可分为三个部分介绍：第一个部分介绍元宵节的内容，诸如传统习俗等；第二个部分播放元宵节歌曲《卖汤圆》，学生对这首歌表现出了极大的兴趣，老师在课上也即兴给大家唱了一首《卖汤圆》，引发学生们的阵阵掌声；第三个部分播放介绍元宵节的视频，更加直观地让学生感知元宵佳节的深刻含义。活动结束后，同学们表示：“中国的元宵节很有意思，元宵很好吃，希望以后能够多多地了解中国的传统文化”。（中英文编辑：董玲玲）

The cultural activities can be divided into three parts: the first part introduces the contents of the Lantern Festival, such as traditional customs; the second part played the Lantern Festival song "sell" Glutinous Rice Balls, the students showed great interest in the class, the teacher also improvised for everyone to sing a song "sell Glutinous Rice Balls", the students triggered bursts of applause; the third part showed the video of the Lantern Festival which made the students more intuitively aware of the profound meaning of the Lantern Festival. 为了丰富国际学生的文化活动内容，促进国际学生之间和老师们的文化了解，2018年3月7日下午四点在东十二教学楼313课室，B4班迎来了本学期第二堂文化活动课——一起来跳舞吧。B4班的同学们播放了自己本国的音乐，跟随着音乐大家都跳起舞来，有些平时比较害羞的同学也在老师和其他同学的鼓励下来到讲台前跳起舞来。其中，一名来自科特迪瓦的皮伟同学律动感非常强，他的舞姿获得了老师和同学的一致赞赏，堪称“舞王”。
活动结束后，同学们的心情非常愉悦，纷纷表示：“这是一趟非常好的文化活动课，我们非常放松，非常喜欢。”大家在一起跳舞，不仅有益身心，而且也在这个过程中拉近了彼此之间的距离，我们也看到了每位国际学生本国的优秀文化，毕竟文化艺术是无国界的。（中英文编辑：董玲玲）

2018年3月1日下午三点半，我校B5班国际学生在东九教学楼观看了由BBC拍摄的《中国春节》系列纪录片。在观看前，老师就纪录片中提出的“春运”、“白酒”、“火锅”、“莲藕”、“包饺子”、“年货”等知识进行了相关的解释后，学生们认真地观看了这个纪录片。在观看结束后，学生们纷纷表示中国春节很有意思，并且对包饺子产生了极大的兴趣，同时希望老师下次能够教他们包饺子。（中英文编辑：文小倩）

2018年3月16日下午，我校B5班国际学生在三位老师的带领下，于校东九楼A415开展了一次以包饺子为主题的体验活动。在活动正式开始之前，B5班的学生都早早地到达教室等候着，看到老师们走来都雀跃不已。活动首先由老师们对包饺子的步骤进行讲解，然后学生们有模有样地学着，在老师们的指导下，学生们渐渐学会了如何包出好看的饺子，有个学生何蕊甚至大胆创新，创造出蕴含自己名字寓意的“花”的饺子。在饺子下锅时，学生们焦急地等待着自己的成果。待饺子出锅以后，学生们仿佛嗷嗷待哺的孩子般纷纷把自己的碗伸在最前端，以便最先品尝到自己的作品。接着在吃饺子的过程中，老师和学生一起畅谈各个国家关于食物的口味。在吃得十分尽兴之时，学生们纷纷开始唱歌跳舞来助兴。最后学生们希望今后可以多进行这样主题式的文化课。（中英文编辑：文小倩）

3月29日下午，我校汉语生B5班国际学生在东九教学楼A415举行了以“观京剧，画脸谱”为主题的文化活动。首先，老师给学生梳理了脸谱的发展脉络，让学生了解了中国脸谱的独特性，然后展示京剧中的片段。其次,把京剧中的各种脸谱图片以及相关资料发给学生，让学生选择一个脸谱的样式进行绘画或创造。再次，老师讲解脸谱的绘画过程以及要注意的事项。在学生们的实际操作阶段，老师在调色、线条等方面进行指导。最后,学生们都绘制了自己的脸谱，并且在合影留念阶段，学生们自动自发地在黑板上写下了活动主题及自己的名字。学生都纷纷表示享受了绘制脸谱的乐趣，同时也感受到了中国文化的魅力。（中英文编辑：文小倩）
On the afternoon of March 29th, the B5 international students held a cultural activity with the theme of “Observing Peking Opera and Painting mask” in the Teaching Building.
First of all, the teacher sorted out the development of Painting mask to students, so that students understand the uniqueness of Chinese mask and then show the clips of Beijing Opera. Secondly, various kinds of Painting mask pictures and related materials in the Peking Opera are sent to students so that the students can choose a style of facial expression to paint or create. Thirdly, the teacher explained the painting process of mask. In the actual operation stage of the students, the teacher will give guidance on color adjustment, lines, and other aspects. In the end, the students all painted their own mask, and during the photo taking stage, the students spontaneously wrote the theme of the activity and their name on the blackboard.
Students all expressed that they not only enjoyed the pleasure of drawing a facial expression, but also felt the charm of Chinese culture.
C1班
2018年3月8日下午，C1班开展了本学期的第一次文化活动课。本次文化活动课向同学们介绍了中国的传统节日——元宵节。活动分为三个部分：老师讲解、观看视频、开展活动。
活动开始，老师先向同学们介绍了元宵节的由来以及元宵节的习俗。然后带领同学们观看视频，配合视频，让同学们能够更加直观地了解元宵节。此外，还给同学们介绍了“汤圆”和“元宵”的不同之处。最后，让同学们通过“你画我猜”感受猜谜语的乐趣，通过把同学分成两组，进行比赛的方式，充分调动了同学们的积极性，也让学生在游戏中复习巩固了汉语词汇。同学们纷纷表示对以后的文化活动充满了期待。（中英文编辑：魏夕坤）

2018年3月22日，C1班举行了第二次文化活动课。为了促进同一水平的学生相互交流、相互学习，本次文化活动课与C2班一起举行，主题为户外活动。下午，两位老师带领各班的学生来到了东区操场，本次活动分为两部分：踢毽子和跳绳。老师首先向学生解释了毽子的由来，再让学生自己尝试一下如何踢毽子。另一边已经有学生开始跳起了长绳。学生们对这两个活动非常感兴趣。两个班的学生互相传毽子，一起跳长绳，相处得非常愉快。最后，两个班选出自己班上踢毽子最厉害的同学进行比赛，虽然很遗憾C1班没有获得胜利，但每个同学都玩得很尽兴，希望以后有更多这样的联谊活动。(中英文编辑：魏夕坤）

C2班
2018年3月8日，C2班举行了第一次文化活动课。脸谱，是中国传统戏曲演员脸上的绘画，用于舞台演出时的化妆造型艺术。伴着一曲《唱脸谱》，本次文化活动拉开序幕。在老师简单介绍完有关脸谱的基本知识之后，同学们兴致盎然地画起了脸谱。有的人参照老师提供的脸谱勾画，有的人自己设计，画完的脸谱还可以作为面具，拍照凹造型。(中英文编辑：孙杨）
On March 08, 2018, class C2 held the first cultural activity class. Facial makeup is a kind of painting that draw on the face of Chinese traditional opera actor and it is also a makeup and styling art used by stage performance. This cultural activity has just begun with a song named singing facial makeup. After the teacher introduced the fundamental knowledge concerned about facial makeup, the students drew the blank mask with great interest. Some students drew it on the basis of facial makeup offered by teacher, some students designed by themselves. After painting, the facial makeup can also be used as a mask to pose and take a photo.
