The 2020 Best Global Universities ranking was officiallyreleased by U.S. News on 22 October, 2019. According to this list, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) ranks 245th in the world, up 15 places compared with that of last year, and ranks 9th among mainland China universities.
