The Conference for Chinese Language Students in 2015 Autumn Semester (Awarding Ceremony) is successfully held on January 5, 2016 in the International Student Activity Center.Nearly 150 Chinese language students attend the conference.The vice dean of the School of International Education Ms.Zhao Xiaofeng, and the Professor of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature Ms.Luo Lin address the conference.
Mr. Yin, who is in charge of Chinese language student affairs, reflects the rich and colorful extra-curricular activities by PPT with the students of this semester, which includes making Chinese knots, bracelets,dumplings and learning Chinese songs and touring around in Wuhan. The flashes in the PPT remind the students of the warm and happy moments about their learning while entertaining.
There are three types of individual awards and one collective award, namely the Best Performance Award, the Perfect Attendance Award, the Greatest Improvement Award and the Best Class and 69 students from over 30 countries are entitled. Ms.Zhao and Ms.Luo present the awards.Class D wins the title of Best Class, and Li Yinxi from the Republic of Korea, the monitor of Class D shares the moments about learning, playing games,touring around and mutual helping in her class, which has greatly touched the audience.Two new awards are added as the Award of Special Contribution, Carlos Eduardo from Brazil wins the prize because he volunteers to teach the children in the Affiliated Primary School and Middle School to HUST football as an assistant coach while Joseph from Dominica, another volunteer who wins the prize by founding a art club teaching students in HUST guitar for free.Every Tuesday many guitar fans would join the club and enjoy the lively teaching.
Sharing the experience about learning Chinese is the last part of the conference and three students respectively from primary, secondary and advanced level deliver the speech. Meng Yong,a girl from Cote d'Ivoire who only studies Chinese for five months impresses everyone deeply by her accurate pronunciation and fluent expression.“Persistence and diligence are the key to learn Chinese well. ”Her words have inspired the present students a lot.HE JIA JUN and Nathan from United States also shares their life and study experience in China, striking the chord of many students.
There are 405 international students totally who come to HUST for long-term and short-termChinese learning in 2015. The conferemce aims at demonstrating the learning fruits of this semester and awarding those students who perform well in study, attendance, improvement or public welfare. Students could learn from each other though sharing as to better adapt their future life and study.
1月5日，华中科技大学2015年秋季汉语生大会暨颁奖典礼在留学生活动中心落下帷幕，近150名来校学习汉语的国际学生参加了大会。国际教育学院副院长赵晓峰、中文系教授骆琳出席大会并致辞。
赵晓峰表示，随着中国的国际地位提升，现在学习汉语的人越来越多，学好汉语不仅可以更好地了解中国人和中国文化，而且为求职增加优势。“希望你们不仅是汉语学习者，更是中国外交的民间大使，传播中外友谊。”
骆琳教授对获奖学生表示祝贺，对于大家一个学期的学习成果，她表示欣慰。“望你们能够继续加油，互相学习，互相帮助，更好地融入校园和社会生活，让来华留学之旅更加充实和精彩。”
汉语生事务老师尹新林通过播放短片，回顾了过去一个学期开展的课外活动。学做中国结，中国手链，包饺子，学唱中文歌，武汉一日游等，大家看到短片中的自己，不禁开怀大笑。
颁奖环节设置了三个个人奖项和一个集体奖项，分别为优秀奖、全勤奖、进步奖和最佳班级奖。本次大会一共表彰了近50个国家的69留学生。赵晓峰和骆琳分别为获奖学生颁奖。D班因良好的班风学风获得最佳班级奖。来自韩国的班长李银熙回顾了班级的温暖点滴，引起了D班同学的共鸣。今年新增了2个特别贡献奖，分别颁发给了巴西的唐凯和多米尼加的约瑟夫。热爱足球的唐凯在华科附小附中志愿做足球教练，希望促进中国足球的发展；约瑟夫则志愿开展免费吉他教学班，每周二吸引了不少吉他爱好者前来交流学习。
分享环节中，3名优秀汉语生分别代表初中高三个等级分享学习汉语的经历和经验。科特迪瓦的梦永只学习了5个月的汉语，但是她用标准的发音和流畅的发言告诉大家：“学习汉语贵在坚持和勤奋。”德国的何镓俊和美国的郝内森也用流利的汉语介绍了自己在中国的学习和生活经验。
2015年，共有405名长短期国际学生来我校学习汉语。举行汉语生大会旨在展示这一学期以来的学习和活动成果，对于表彰学习优异、出勤良好、进步卓越或致力于公益的优秀学生予以奖励；通过经验交流会，让学生们互学互惠，帮助他们更好地在华中科技大学学习和生活。
