2025年华中科技大学短期汉语文化项目招生简章
华中科技大学是国家教育部直属重点综合性大学，是国家“211工程”重点建设和“985工程”建设高校之一，是首批“双一流”建设高校，位列中国大学前十。根据2024年U.S. NEWS和QS的最新排名，学校在全球高校排名中分别位列第100名和第275名；在软科2024年世界大学排名中，位居第79名。

一、 项目介绍
短期汉语文化项目（1-4周）：旨在通过讲座、研讨会和实践活动等丰富的形式向学生介绍和展示中国文化和概况。该项目专为对中国感兴趣但没有来过中国的学生开设。学生可以直接生动地体验中国社会的方方方面，感受灿烂的中国文化和真实的中国形象。
2010年起，我校先后与法国、英国、美国、澳大利亚、新西兰、挪威、印度尼西亚、泰国、蒙古等国的高校开展短期汉语进修项目合作。截至目前，已有超过1000名国际学生加入此类项目。该项目课程内容十分丰富，包括汉语学习、中国文化讲座、中华才艺展示（包饺子、写毛笔字、学习剪纸、做中国结、学习太极拳、欣赏古筝等）、文体活动（中外学生联欢会、体育竞赛）、武汉城市观光（黄鹤楼、户部巷、长江、湖北省博物馆、东湖）等，深受国际学生喜爱和欢迎。
二、 申请资格
1. 非中国籍人士；
2. 对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国的法律法规和学校的规章制度；
3. 身心健康，品学兼优；
4. 年龄为16-35周岁（以2025年9月1日计）。
三、申请材料
1.个人护照照片页扫描件；
2.外国人体格检查表;
3.无犯罪记录证明：由公安机关或执法机构签发的无犯罪记录证明；
4.未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。
备注：以上所有材料须提供中文或英文版本，中文和英文以外的文本须附中文或英文译文。

进行报名申请并与我校确定在华学习计划，每团至少15人。
五、学费
一周：1500元人民币；

Application Guide for 2025 HUST Short-term Chinese Culture Program （SCCP）
HUST is a comprehensive research university under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Education. It is a participant university of the former “985” Project in China, and one of the first universities approved under the national "Double First-Class" Initiative, China’s “Excellence Initiative” for institutions of higher education, ranking among the top ten universities in China. According to the latest 2024 U.S. NEWS and QS World University Rankings, HUST ranks 100th and 275th respectively in the world universities rankings; in the 2024 Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities, HUST ranks 79th.
HUST covers an area of over 460 hectares with green trees, favorable environment and beautiful scenery. It has been referred to the “University in the Forest” with a 72% greenery coverage. HUST boasts a full range of academic disciplines, and basically builds a comprehensive and research-oriented university discipline system. ➭Brief Introduction
Short-term Chinese Culture Program (one-four weeks SCCP) aims to introduce and display preliminary Chinese culture and general situation to students through lectures, seminars and activities. SCCP is extremely suitable for those who are interested in China but haven't been to China. Students can experience China in many aspects directly and vividly and consequently get an objective and rich impression of glorious Chinese culture and ever-changing Chinese image.
Since 2010, we have collaborated with universities from France, the UK, America, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Indonesia, Thailand and Mongolia in terms of SCCP. Until now, there are more than 1000 international students who have joined SCCP.
This program has interesting and colorful course design, including
-Chinese language learning
-Lectures on Chinese culture
-Chinese talent show （making Jiaozi-Chinese dumplings, writing Chinese characters with Chinese writing brush, learning paper cutting, making Chinese knot, learning Taijiquan -Chinese shadowboxing, appreciating Zheng Performance- a traditional Chinese musical instrument)
-Entertainments and sports activities (party, and football competition for Chinese students and program participants and etc.)
-Sightseeing in Wuhan (visiting Yellow Crane Tower and Hubuxiang Lane, Yangtze River, Hubei Provincial Museum, East Lake and etc.)
These activities are very popular and welcomed among students.
➭Eligibility
a) Be a non-Chinese citizen;
b) Be friendly to China, have no criminal record, abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of the Host Institution;
c) Be in good physical and mental health, be in good academic and behavioral standing;
d) Be aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2025.
➭Documents Needed for Application
a) A scanned copy of passport photo page
b) Physical Examination Form (please click to download). Applicants in China can upload personal health certificate or residence permit instead.
c) Certificate of Non-criminal Record. A certificate issued by the police station or law enforcement agency certifying that you have no previous criminal record.
d) Applicants under the age of 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.
Note: All application documents must be in Chinese or English edition. Documents issued in the third language should be translated in Chinese or English editions.
➭Application and Admission Procedure
The program shall be organized and applied for by a recommending institution with at least 15 participants per group. Before the trip, a detailed study plan shall be made in consultation with HUST. Application through the e-mail：cindywys@hust.edu.cn.
