8 students from Institut supérieur d'électronique de Paris(ISEP) attended the welcoming meeting held by the School of Optical and Electronic Information on March 1, and the 4th HUST-ISEP internship program was officially started. The meeting was hosted by Professor Lv Wenzhong, vice dean of school of Electrical and Electronic Engineering，and professor Li Buyin and assistant professor Wang Xiaochuan also attended the meeting. Mr Deng Qiansong, dean of Public Laboratory for University Students, Mr Zhangchao and Huang Zheng from University Innovative Team Project, and part of Chinese students in 2014th and 2015th grade also attended the meeting.
Professor Lv Wenzhong firstly expressed his greetings to the French students, and he promised that HUST will create the fist-class study environment with all efforts for international students and create a platform to enhance communication between Chinese and French students. Professor Lv wished them all the best during their study on-campus. Afterwards, French students were given an introduction of internship projects. Professor Li Buyin firstly introduced the water heating devices of electric vehicle which based on the PTC heating; students also had the chance to have some insights into the design of aerial、GPS and microwave devices. Public Laboratory for University Students prepared the project of web-design which relies on the language of Python or Java and some interesting projects of software which based on Android or Apple operating system. After a short introduction and communication on site, French students had great interests in these projects which are close to the modern life and user-friendly, and they promised that they would participate in these internship projects on time this semester.
Chinese students from Sino-French class had a free chat with the French students before the meeting, and they had acquainted with each other by exchanging their contacts. Chinese students are expected to have more communication with French students in this semester, and to better understand culture with each other, and nurture long-lasting friendship.
ISEP has been sending 8 undergraduate students to study in HUST on yearly basis since 2014. Up till now, there are more than 30 students had studied in HUST.
8名法国留学生在我校参加项目实习见面会
(通讯员 田莉) 3月1日，光学与电子信息学院举行了一场见面会，欢迎8名从法国巴黎高等电子学院（ISEP）来的项目学员，学生们正式开始了为期一学期的项目实习。见面会由光电学院副院长吕文中主持，黎步银教授、王晓川副教授参会。大学生公共项目实验室主任邓前松及创新星辰团队项目负责人张超同学和黄正同学，还有部分中法班2014级、2015级学生也参加了见面会。
吕文中副院长首先对法国留学生表示欢迎，他表示学校将尽力为留学生创造优秀的学习环境，为中法学生交流搭建更多平台，并祝他们在华中大学习进步，生活愉快。之后各位指导老师给留学生们介绍了实习项目。黎步银教授首先介绍实验室一个基于PTC发热提的电动汽车水暖加热装置的实验；在王晓川老师实验室里同学们将接触到天线、GPS及微波器件的设计；大学生公共项目实验室精心准备了基于Python和Java编程语言的互联网网页制作项目和基于安卓或苹果（IOS）操作系统手机APP制作的趣味性软件项目。通过现场交流，这几个贴近时尚生活，操作性极强项目在交流会现场很快地深深吸引了法国留学生。留学生们表示一定会每周按时到实验室参与项目的学习。
见面会之前，光电学院中法班的同学们也和这几位法国学生进行了交流，认识了彼此并交换了联系方式。期待在这学期里，中法班同学们也能够和法国留学生多多交流，了解彼此的文化，结下珍贵的友谊。
从2014年起，法国巴黎高等电子学院(ISEP)每学期派遣8名法国本科生来校学习，已累积有三十多名本科留学生在我校学习。
