Dear HUST postgraduate students,

If you plan to apply for graduation in this summer, here is a kind reminder on the graduation and degree awarding issues during the outbreak period:

(1) You are encouraged to keep a close contact with your supervisor and your School (Department) to follow the protocols and procedures, to make sure that your application for graduation in June will happen as scheduled.

(2) If your academic work and thesis writing is hindered by the outbreak, which may hold you back from graduating in June, you can apply for an extension of schooling through your School (Department). The university will arrange an extra degree program assessment meeting during July or August, making every effort to minimize the impact of the outbreak on your graduation.

Again, please stay healthy and keep up with your academic work. If you have any questions, please contact your supervisor, concerning personnel of your school, and make a carbon copy to Ms. JIANG Jing (jiangjing@hust.edu.cn), Vice Director of Academic Affairs Office, Graduate School, HUST.

(1) 如果你的学位论文按计划进展顺利，可按原定程序申请六月份毕业。请你随时关注院系工作通知。

(2) 如果你的学位论文进展因疫情影响无法按期完成，请将你的困难及时向导师及教务员汇报，学业可以顺延。届时根据具体情况，学校拟于7/8月间增加学位审议会议，尽最大可能减少因疫情对你们毕业的影响。
