As China is a country which processes the great advancement in economics and society development, hence China is full of challenges and new experiences. Due to the fact of aforementioned, I have a great desire to open the opportunity for doing my study in China that will be able to gain the progressive knowledge and culture, and sharing experience with the other international students from over the world.
I am Thithit Atchattabhan, the first Thai student graduated Master and Ph.D. majoring in Business Administration at HUST. According I was persuaded by my close friend who is also the Thai alumni, and then I would not have hesitated to start my opportunity for advancement with studying at HUST. After I was granted the Chinese Government Scholarship to study Master degree and Ph.D. here, I do demystifying the high intention of China to the education for all the Chinese students and including the international students as well. Particularly, I have gained experience of the different culture simultaneously that is invaluable and constant encouragement throughout the courses.
During my time in HUST, I am greatly honored that I have been praised as the Thai Coordinator Student by HUST since I was studied Master degree. From then onwards, I have got the opportunities to cooperate work with the International Student Office constantly and I have contributed a lot to start the relationship and promote the mutual cooperation between HUST and Thailand, and also HUST and international. By highlight the aforementioned of my worth experiences, it deemed to best chance sharing some special occasions those I was impressive.
Foremost, it was the first very special occasion for me in accordance with it was the first time of Thai student assembling in Wuhan. Toward the cooperation of Thai student, “The 6th Luojia Autumn International Cultural Festival 2010” was arranged to perform the Thai culture exhibition which we were greatly honored to welcome the delegation of the Thai Ambassador, Mr.Piamsak Milintachinda. This seems to be the dominant step of mine for being continual coordinator of Thai student. In 2011, “The 7th Luojia Autumn International Cultural Festival 2011” was also organized which I paid attention designing the activity to relieve the pain of flood crisis in Thailand at that time. We, as the behalf of Thai people gained the sense of friendship and kindness from Chinese people and international students in Wuhan.
Afterward, I was cordially invited by one of the professor from School of Management to participate in the School of Management Faculty Badminton Competition 2012. I was a player the Department of Business Administration and played Doubles Competition with Associate Professor Dr.Yang Zhi who subsequently has become my Ph.D. supervisor. And then we magnificently won the first prize in this competition. Onwards, I have become one of the School of Management Badminton Player and won the first prize of Huazhong University of Science and Technology Badminton Competition in 2015.
Moreover, words cannot express how grateful I am to the great opportunities those I have coordinated and cooperated work with International Student Office. Regarding the project “HUST Connecting the World”, I was appointed to be a producer creating the potential media relations to be promoted and enhanced internationalizing of HUST. Likewise, this project was conducted to promote exploring of learning and designed to lead the international students for a better understanding HUST. It deemed to be an effective prototype of the rapid development. In essence, the project has entailed the synergy between many sectors namely, HUST, International Student Office, V-Fun Team, SICA, and also Chinese and international students simultaneously it was the cornerstone of thinking consisting of creative, brainstorm, and eventually innovation.
Regarding the worth experience of coordinating and cooperating work, I was appointed to be a representative of HUST international student for the meetings and conferences with HUST Administrative. For the last 2013, on behalf of Thai student, I would express my heartfelt thankfulness to HUST and International Student Office in accordance with they have supported to co-organize assembling the Thai student for granted the opportunity to welcome Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at Shangri-La Hotel Wuhan. Therefore again, I have got the great chance to coordinate with the Royal Thai Embassy, Beijing and the representative of Wuhan University to organize the first Mobile Consular in Wuhan in 2014. Then I was honored and feeling the deep pleasure that this special occasion, the Mobile Consular in Wuhan 2016 was recently arranged at our HUST which we, Thai student have been strongly supported by HUST and International Student Office. It had been a key factor to assemble of the Thai student in Wuhan
By highlight the strength of high education and mobilize technology of HUST, I have coordinated and given impetus to contribute the relationship and drive the mutual cooperation between HUST and Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), Thailand where is praised as the research university of Thailand. With the support of Dr.Chatchai Pitsapol, Thai HUST alumni and hereafter as the lecturer at SUT, this MOA was enhanced and signed a Cooperative Agreement to conduct and develop the high education with the two universities and it was the first cooperation between HUST and Thai university.
With this occasion, I would awfully grateful to all the cooperation including collaboration with my country mates who is studying at HUST main campus, the Thai MBBS students at HUST Tongji Medical College, and also Thai students from other universities as Wuhan University, Central China Normal University, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Wuhan University of Technology, Huazhong Agricultural University, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), and Hubei University of Chinese Medicine. Additionally, I would express my deepest appreciation to all the relevant that supported and enhanced me for the fruitful experience in China and also thank for all assisting from my Chinese and international friends and country mates namely, Mr. Wu Jian, Mr. Wang Xingdong, Mr. Chen Yun, Mr. Edwin Pangaldus, Assist. Dr. Kejsaraporn Suttapong, Dr. Nattapat Rakwongwan, Dr. Kittisak Prukkanone, Dr. Anupong Thuengnaitham, Ms. Kittima Pavitpok, Mr. Katunyu Kanitbuncha, Mr. Worachet Apithanawit, and Mr. Raksanon Saovapichat. Especially I would thank to Ms. Thanida Nisthanon who introduced and persuaded me to study at HUST.
With respect, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my Ph.D. advisor, Associate Professor Dr. Yang Zhi, the Associate Dean of School of Management, for the continuous support of my study and research, for his patience, motivation, enthusiasm, and immense knowledge. I also greatly owe the appreciation to the essential supportor, Mr. Yu Hailin and Ms. Zhao Xiaofeng, the Dean and Vice Dean of School of International Education, Mr. Lan Hanghang, Mr. Yin Xinlin (Jerry), Mr. Ai Xiao, Ms. Xue Jiajia (Jessica), Ms. Yan Wei (Vivian), Ms. Wu Xuan, Mr. Xu Wei (Peter), Mr. Ren Yu, and all the officers of International Student Office for their support, and providing the invaluable experiences during my time in HUST.
