On March 22nd, a group of international students from various countries, including France, Morocco, Korea, Madagascar and Ghana, gathered in the square of D9 learning Chinese traditional martial art, Taijiquan.

All the students are learning the movement of Taijiquan with strong interest. “This is the first time that I have learned Taijiquan. It is fascinating!” Monica from Morocco is particularly interested in Chinese culture and she says that she will keep on learning Taijiquan. Another Indonesian student has been quite familiar with Chinese Taijiquan for he has learnt it for over two weeks. “I like it!” He told the reporter joyfully.

The teachers say that as a popular sport all over China, Taijiquan is a kind of subtle movement. International students could not only enrich their extra curriculums but also understand Chinese culture better in the process of learning Taijiquan.
