US News 2023 Ranking: HUST ranks 6th in the Chinese mainland
10月25日，US News发布2023世界大学排行榜，华中科技大学排名全球109位，中国内地高校第6位。
On October 25, US News released the 2023 World University Ranking. Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) ranked 109th in the world and 6th in the Chinese mainland.
在近两年公布的排名中，华科大均名列前茅。今年8月，上海软科正式发布“2022软科世界大学学术排名”，其中华科大跻身全球百强，位居世界第96名、中国内地高校第8名、湖北省第1名；在2022-23 CWUR世界大学排名中，华科大位列中国内地高校第9位；在爱思唯尔(Elsevier)发布的2021“中国高被引学者”榜单中，华科大入选的高被引学者数量为101位，位列高校第六。
In August 2022, Shanghai Ranking Consultancy officially released the "2022 Academic Ranking of World Universities", and HUST ranked among the top 100 universities in the world, 96th in the world, 8th in the Chinese mainland and 1st in Hubei Province. In the 2022-23 CWUR World University Ranking, HUST ranked the 9th in the Chinese mainland. In the 2021 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list released by Elsevier, the number of highly cited HUST researchers was 101, ranking 6th among all Chinese universities.
截至2022年9月，华科大拥有专任教师3700余人，其中教授1400余人，副教授1400余人；教师中有院士19人，“973计划”项目首席科学家15人，重大科学研究计划项目首席科学家2人，国家重点研发计划项目首席科学家163人（其中包括国际合作科学家48人），国家级教学名师13人。国家自然科学基金创新研究群体11个，教育部创新团队19个。
Till to September 2022, HUST owns more than 3700 full-time teachers, including more than 1400 professors and 1400 associate professors. There are 19 academicians, 15 chief scientists of the "973 Program", 2 chief scientists of major scientific research programs, 163 chief scientists of national key research and development programs (including 48 international cooperative scientists), 13 national famous teachers, 11 NSFC innovation research groups and 19 innovation teams from the Ministry of Education.
