On the afternoon of October 27th, the 2022 "Discover at HUST" Online Promotional Session for Global Partners—third session for Free University of Brussels (FUB), Belgium, was successfully held. Roloand, Director of the Chinese Language Department of Advanced Translation Institute of FUB, and ZHAO Zhengyi, Chinese teacher of FUB, attended the session. Students from FUB participated in this event.

10月27日下午，我校组织了2022年“问学华中大”国际学生招生海外合作院校第三场宣讲会。比利时布鲁塞尔自由大学高级翻译学院汉语系主任Roloand、汉语教师赵铮一以及该学院学生参加了此次活动。

Ms. YAN Wei, from School of International Education, HUST, gave a detailed introduction to the university development history, comprehensive ranking, discipline construction, social service, campus environment and “Discover at HUST” online programs. Then, Morgane and Célia, two Belgium students from FUB, briefly introduced themselves in simple Chinese. It has been three years since they started learning Chinese and they hope to experience Chinese culture on campus at HUST and in Wuhan in the near future. Zhao Zhengyi said that last year, two exchange students from FUB gave positive feedbacks after completing their online studies at HUST. Therefore, HUST became the only university in China mainland where FUB will send outbound students in 2022. She also expressed her hope to further strengthen cooperation between FUB and HUST.

宣讲会上，国际教育学院招生与对外合作办公室主任严薇从学校综合实力、国际排名、学科优势、社会服务、校园环境、特色项目等方面进行了介绍。随后，比利时学生Morgane和Célia两位同学分别用汉语做了简单的自我介绍。她们表示学习汉语已有三年时间，非常喜欢中国文化，希望有机会到华中大学习汉语，实地体会中国文化。赵铮一表示，去年两名学生在华中大线上学习结束后反馈很好，因此，华中科技大学成为比利时布鲁塞尔自由大学2022年派送学生赴中国大陆交流学习的唯一目的地高校，希望两校能进一步加强交流与合作，对接学科优势、共享教学资源，开创两校全面合作的新局面。

HUST has been conducting international exchange with FUB since 2013. Over the years, the two parties had close cooperation in the fields of scientific research and student exchange. In 2021, two students from FUB completed their online study with outstanding achievements in spite of the challenges brought by the pandemic. In 2022, FUB will select and dispatch two exchange students to study Chinese at HUST.

我校自2013年起与布鲁塞尔自由大学开展校际交流活动，多年来两校在科研、学生互派等领域都有着密切的合作。2021年，更有两名来自布鲁塞尔自由大学的交换生，克服疫情影响，在线上以优异成绩完成春季学期的课程学习。据悉，2022年该校还将继续选派两名学生来我校学习汉语。
