Students from New Zealand Confucius Institute Visited Malong Middle School

On April 13th, 64 teachers and students from New Zealand Confucius Institute at Unversity of Canterbury visited Malong Middle School of Xishui town in Hubei Province. Stephen, the representative teacher from Thomas More contributed 10,000 yuan to Malong Middle School on behalf of 20 students from New Zealand.

They had activities like tug-of-war together and a lot great conversations with the students in Malong Middle School. During this visit, their knowledge of China came into a new light.

It’s learned that 64 teachers and students who have joined the Chinese Culture Camp in China came from different schools in South Island. The first time they have visited Malong Middle School was in 2003 with 32 people in total and had a deep impression on this Chinese countryside middle school. Their visit to China is also a cultural exchange and a promotion to the friendship between our two countries.

       新闻网讯(通讯员 尹新林)4月13日,64名新西兰坎特伯雷大学孔子学院师生访问湖北省浠水县马陇中学。圣托马斯男校的Stephen老师代表20名新西兰学生向该校捐赠1万元善款。

      据悉,64名新西兰师生来自南岛的不同中学,此次来华参加中国文化体验营。2013年,新西兰师生32人首次访问马陇中学,并对这所中国乡村中学留下了深刻印象。
