Notice on Residence Permit Processing During the 2024 Winter Vacation
Dear all HUST international students:
The winter vacation is coming soon. According to University’s arrangement, the winter vacation will start from January 20th, 2024 to February 23rd, 2024, and class will start from February 26th, 2024.
During the winter vacation, the daily services like residence permit, certificates and so on will be suspended. Main campus students whose residence permit expires before February 29th, 2024 must come to ISO to apply for residence permit extension in person before January 23rd, 2024 (Working hours: 8:00-11:50, 14:00-17:30, Monday to Friday). Only receive application in person this time. Student applicants must present the passport, temporary accommodation registration form, and for self-funded students, proofs of tuition and accommodation (student apartment) fees payment are also required. Besides, students whose insurance is going to expire need to purchase insurance first since the residence permit validity won't be longer than the insurance validity period(Insurance website: https://lxbx.net/).
After obtaining the residence permit from the Immigration, main campus students should scan or take a photo of the valid residence permit page and send it to the designated email philophilos@hust.edu.cn. If the new visa/residence permit information is not reported to the the designated email in time, ISO will shorten the duration of the student’s next visa/residence permit or report to Wuhan entry and exit administration to cancel his or her visa/residence according to the seriousness of the case.
Please double-check the validity of your residence permit and apply for the extension of residence permit in time.

2024年寒假居留许可办理通知
全体国际学生:
2024年寒假即将到来。根据学校的放假安排,在校学生于2024年1月20日放假,2024年2月23日返校报到,2024年2月26日正式上课。
寒假期间,主校区国际学生办公室暂停签证办理、证明开具相关服务。2024年2月29日前居留许可到期的主校区国际学生请于2024年1月23日前来国际学生办公室办理居留许可(上午8:00-11:50,下午14:00-17:30,不包括周末)。只接受线下申请居留许可,暂停通过邮件申请居留许可。办理材料时需要出示护照、临时住宿登记表,自费生还需要提供住宿费、学费缴纳凭据。保险到期的学生还需要先购买保险。
此外,提醒各位主校区国际学生务必将自己的有效居留许可页信息扫描或拍照后发送至邮箱philophilos@hust.edu.cn。如不及时将新签证信息报送给至制定邮箱,国际学生办公室将视情节轻重,缩短其下一次签证期限或报给武汉市出入境管理局取消其签证。
请各位同学再次核查个人居留许可有效期,及时办理居留许可延长,度过一个平安、快乐的假期!
