Dear all international bachelor returning graduates of 2016:
Graduation season for international students of 2016 is approaching to the end. All international graduates are requested to leave China and return home before July 31, 2016. For students who have not completed all required credits and will return to campus to retake courses from September 1, 2016, please pay attention to the following notices:
1. Please come to the International Student Office to extend your residence permit after July 10, 2016. According to relative regulations of the university, all returning undergraduates’ residence permit will be extended to January 31, 2017. During the extension period, all students shall strictly obey Chinese laws, and no illegal or criminal activity allowed.
2. According to item 69, Academic Regulations for all Undergraduates of HUST, all the returning students can obtain degree certificate under the condition that he/she can complete all required credits before the end of December, 2016. Otherwise, you will face the problem of not able to receive degree certificate forever.
3. After completing all exams, all students are requested to leave China before January 31, 2017. The university will grant certificates from April, 2017 and students can authorize other people to receive certificates on behalf of you.

2016届本科结业返校重修学生注意事项
致所有2016届本科结业返校重修学生，
2016届本科留学生毕业工作接近尾声，所有毕业生将于2016年7月31日前离校回国。对于未修满学分、将于9月1日返校重修课程的学生，请注意以下几点通知：
一、返校重修学生请于7月10日以后前往留学生办公室办理居留许可延长手续。按照学校规定，所有2016届本科结业返校重修学生的居留许可将统一延长至2017年1月31日。延长期间，学生须严格遵守中国法律，不得有任何违法违纪行为。
二、依据《华中科技大学普通本科生学籍管理细则》第六十九条规定，所有2016年9月起以结业生身份返校重修课程的学生，若无法于2016年12月底之前修满所有学分，将永远无法获得学位证书；
三、学生结束考试后，须于1月31日前按期离境。学校将于2017年4月统一为返校重修学生补授予学位，学生可委托他人代领学位证书。
