Dear international students,
The 2016 fall semester will start on August 29, 2016. Some important matters are notified below:
1. Current Student Semester Registration.
All current students must complete finish tuition payment and semester registration before September 11, 2016 to enjoy the student rights. Three options are available for registration:
1. http://register.hust.edu.cn;
2. HUST HUB SYSTEM WECHAT;
3. HUST SMART CARD SELFSERVICE TERMINALS
Students must confirm information of their name, nationality, major, date of birth, cellphone number, living address and emergency contact persons carefully. Changes must be reported if there is any mistake. After successful registration, Students need to bring their Student Registration Book to their own school or International Student Office for the official registration stamp between September 18 and September 30, 2016.
Those who failed registration as required shall be dismissed by the university.
2. Signing for Stipend
Current scholarship students need to sign for stipend from September 19 to September 23, 2016. No latecomers shall be accepted.
3. ISO work schedule change
New students’ enrollment will officially start from September 1 to September 5, 2016 and it may last for two weeks including orientation programs until September 15.
During this period, the office will only take care of new students’ arrival and registration. Current students are suggested to apply for service after September 18, 2016.
4. Mid-Autumn day Festival
Mid-autumn day festival is from September 15 to September 17.All offices will be closed and there is no class. Please enjoy the festival with your Chinese friends.

关于2016年秋季学期学生注册的通知
全体国际学生：
2016年度秋季学期于8月29日开始，相关注册等重要事宜通知如下：
一、老生新学期注册
所有老生务必于2016年9月11日前完成学费缴纳和新学期注册，以取得新学期学习资格。
学生申请注册，可采用以下方式之一：
1. 网页注册。通过登录华中科技大学注册系统（http://register.hust.edu.cn）申请注册。
2. 微信注册。手机微信关注“华中科技大学HUB系统”公众号，通过微信申请注册。
3. 校园卡注册。老生可通过校园卡自助服务终端申请注册。
学生注册时需要仔细核对本人姓名、国籍、专业、出生日期、手机号码、住址和紧急联系人等信息。如果上述信息有误，请及时向留学生办公室申请修改。完成注册后，持本人学生证于2016年9月18日至9月30日到各自院系或留学生办公室申请加盖注册章。
逾期未注册的学生将面临退学处理。
二、签领生活费
下学期老生签领生活费的时间为2016年9月19日至9月23日。
三、留学生办公室工作安排
2016级新生报到时间为9月1日至5日，相关入学教育等事宜会持续到9月15日。在此期间，留学生办公室将主要进行的是新生入学、注册等工作，老生如有事宜请于9月18日后来留学生办公室办理。
四、中秋节放假安排
中秋节假期为9月15日至17日。在此期间，留学生办公室将不对外办公，与此同时假期期间将无课程安排。
