➭ Program Overview
School of Journalism and Information Communication, in partnership with the School of International Education, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), proudly presents the International Summer School Program on Chinese Language +Smart Social Media E-commerce. This program integrates intensive Chinese language learning with cutting-edge insights into China's dynamic social commerce ecosystem, offering a unique blend of academic rigor, cultural immersion, and industry exposure.
Program Duration: June 20 – July 7, 2026 (2 weeks)
Location: Wuhan, China — a national hub for the digital economy and innovation
➭ Program Highlights
Immersive Chinese Language + Smart Social Media E-commerce Experience: Combines daily Chinese classes with real-world applications in China’s leading digital commerce landscape.
Industry Insight & Enterprise Visits: Visits leading Chinese tech companies and live-streaming e-commerce platforms to understand how social media and e-commerce converge.
Hands-On Workshops: Participates in live-streaming simulations, content creation sessions, and digital marketing strategy workshops guided by industry professionals.
Cultural & Business Exposure: Explores Wuhan's innovation zones and historical sites while networking with peers from around the world.
➭ Eligibility
1. Non-Chinese citizens currently enrolled at overseas institutions.
2. Proficiency in English or Chinese
3. Strong interest in e-commerce, digital marketing, social media, or cross-border trade.
4. Motivation to engage in an intensive cross-cultural learning environment.
5. Commitment to full participation in the 15-day program.
