华中科技大学国际中文教师奖学金招生简章 （2026年）
为满足国际社会对日益增长的中文教育类人才的需求，促进世界各国中文教育的发展，助力国际中文教育人才的成长，教育部中外语言交流合作中心（以下简称中心）设立国际中文教师奖学金（以下简称奖学金），聚焦培养合格的海外中文教师。孔子学院、独立设置的孔子课堂，部分中文考试考点，外国相关教育机构、高校中文师范专业/中文院系、国外有关中文教学行业组织、中国驻外使（领）馆等（以下简称推荐机构）可推荐优秀学生和在职中文教师到中国大学（以下简称接收院校）学习和进修国际中文教育及相关专业。
华中科技大学是国家教育部直属重点综合性大学，是国家“211工程”重点建设和“985工程”建设高校之一，是首批“双一流”建设高校，位列中国大学前十。根据2025年U.S. NEWS和QS的最新排名，学校在全球高校排名中分别位列第91名和第319名；在上海软科2025年世界大学排名中，学校位居第73名。

一、 招生对象
1. 非中国籍人士；
2. 对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度；
3. 身心健康，品学兼优；
4. 有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作；
5. 年龄为 16-35 周岁（统一以 2026 年 9 月 1 日计）。在职中文教师放宽至 45 周岁，本科奖学金申请者一般不超过 25 周岁。
二、奖学金类别及申请条件
1. 国际中文教育专业博士研究生
2026 年 9 月入学，资助期限为 4 年。
具有硕士学历，硕士专业为对外汉语、语言学、国际中文教育或者教育相关专业。中文水平考试成绩达到 HSK（六级）200 分、HSKK（高级）60 分，或达到 HSK（七级）。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。
2. 国际中文教育专业硕士研究生
2026 年 9 月入学，资助期限为 2 年。
具有大学本科学历。中文水平考试成绩达到 HSK（五级）210 分、HSKK（中级）60 分。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。
3. 中国语言文学类（汉语国际教育专业）本科生
2026年 9 月入学，资助期限为 4 年。
具有高中学历。中文水平考试成绩达到 HSK（四级）210 分、HSKK（中级）60 分。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。
4. 一学年研修生
2026 年 9 月入学，资助期限为 11 个月。
汉语研修方向，中文水平考试成绩达到 HSK（三级） 210 分，具有 HSKK 成绩。
5. 一学期研修生
2026 年 9 月、2027 年 3 月入学，资助期限为 5 个月。
汉语研修方向，中文水平考试成绩达到 HSK（三级）180 分，具有 HSKK 成绩。
6. 四周研修生
2026 年 7 月或 12 月入学，资助期限为 4 周。
汉语研修（汉语+体育/影视）方向，具有 HSK 成绩。可由推荐机构组团进行报名，并事先联系我校确定在华学习计划，每团 10-15 人。
三、奖学金资助内容及标准
奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、生活费（四周研修生除外）和综合医疗保险费。

四、申请流程
1. 2026 年 3 月1日起，申请者可登录中外语言交流合作中心网站（http://www.chinese.cn）国际中文教师奖学金版块，申请国际中文教师奖学金 (接收院校选择：华中科技大学)。
2. 申请者在国际中文教师奖学金网站提交申请后，须登陆华中科技大学国际学生在线申请与服务系（http://admission.hust.edu.cn/apply）进行在线注册和申请，并上传国际中文教师奖学金申请表作为申请费支付证明。
3. 在线申请的截止日期（以北京时间为准）：
1) 2026年4月15日（2026年7 月入学）；
2) 2026年5月15日（2026年9月入学）；
3) 2026年9月15日（2026年12月入学）；
4) 2026年10月31日（2027年3月入学）。
五、申请材料
1. 护照照片页扫描件。
2. HSK、HSKK成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件。
3. 推荐机构负责人的推荐信。
4. 提供最高学历证明（毕业预期证明）和在校学习成绩单。
5. 外国人体格检查表：请点击下载文件。
6. 无犯罪记录证明：由公安机关或执法机构签发的无犯罪记录证明。
7. 在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信。
8. 未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。
六、关于在职中文教师和汉语桥获奖者
1. 在职中文教师
在职中文教师申请各类奖学金，可提供就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信，同等条件下优先录取。
2. 汉语桥获奖者
在各类汉语桥比赛中获得 “国际中文教师奖学金证书” 者，登录国际中文教师奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向目标接收院校提交申请材料。

七、其他
1．一学期研修项目和一学年研修项目原则上不录取3年内享受过同类奖学金的申请者。
2. 申请者需提供真实、完整、有效的申请材料，弄虚作假，一经查证，取消申请资格。
3．入学体检不合格，中途退学及未经许可不按时报到、休学等情况，取消奖学金资格。

Application Guidelines for 2026 HUST
International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship
To address the growing international demand for Chinese language teachers, facilitate the global development of Chinese language education, and support the professional development of Chinese language teachers, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as “CLEC”) has established the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as “the Scholarship”) for eligible Chinese language teachers outside of China. Confucius Institutes, independent Confucius Classrooms, select HSK test centers, foreign educational institutions, Chinese language teacher training programs/Chinese departments at foreign universities, professional associations for Chinese language teaching, and Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Recommending Institutions”) may recommend outstanding students and in-service Chinese language teachers to pursue their studies in International Chinese Language Education and related programs at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST).
HUST is a comprehensive research university under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Education. It is a participant university of the former “985” Project in China, and one of the first universities approved under the national "Double First-Class" Initiative, China’s “Excellence Initiative” for institutions of higher education, ranking among the top ten universities in China. According to the latest 2025 U.S. NEWS and QS World University Rankings, HUST ranks 91st and 319th respectively in the world universities rankings; in the 2025 Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities, HUST ranks 73rd.
HUST covers an area of over 667 hectares with green trees, favorable environment and beautiful scenery. It has been referred to the “University in the Forest” with a 72% greenery coverage. HUST boasts a full range of academic disciplines, and basically builds a comprehensive and research-oriented university discipline system. 1. ELIGIBILITY
a) Be a non-Chinese citizen;
b) Be friendly to China, have no criminal record, abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of the HUST;
c) Be in good physical and mental health, be in good academic and behavioral standing;
d) Be interested in Chinese language education and related work; and
e) Be aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2026. The maximum age limit for in-service Chinese teachers may be extended to 45, but those who apply for a scholarship for a Bachelor’s degree shall be younger than 25 under most circumstances.
2. SCHOLARSHIP TYPES AND QUALIFICATIONS
A. PhD in International Chinese Language Education
The program commences in September 2026, with a scholarship duration of up to four academic years. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, Linguistics, International Chinese Language Education, or an education related major. Applicants must score at least 200 on the HSK (Level 6) and 60 on the HSKK (Advanced Level), or achieve HSK Level 7. Priority will be given to applicants who provide an employment agreement (or equivalent proof) from a teaching institution for post-graduation employment.
B. Master’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education
The program commences in September 2026, with a scholarship duration of up to two academic years. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree. Applicants must score at least 210 on the HSK (Level 5) and 60 on the HSKK (Intermediate Level). Priority will be given to applicants who provide an employment agreement (or equivalent proof) from a teaching institution for post-graduation employment.
C. Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Language and Literature (International Chinese Language Education)
The program commences in September 2026, with a scholarship duration of up to four academic years. Applicants must hold a senior high school diploma. Applicants must score at least 210 on the HSK (Level 4) and 60 on the HSKK (Intermediate Level). Priority will be given to applicants who provide an employment agreement (or equivalent proof) from a teaching institution for post-graduation employment.
D. One-Year Study Program
The program commences in September 2026, with a scholarship duration of up to 11 months. Applicants must score at least 270 on the HSK (Level 3) and possess an HSKK score.
E. One-Semester Study Program
The program commences either in September 2026 or March 2027, with a scholarship duration of up to five months. Applicants must score at least 180 on the HSK (Level 3) and possess an HSKK score.
F. Four-Week Study Program
The program commences either in July or December 2026, with a scholarship duration of up to four weeks.
Applicants of Chinese language study (Chinese Language + Sports/Film) must possess an HSK score. Recommending Institutions may organize group applications, and must contact the HUST in advance to finalize the study plan in China and submit it to CLEC for pre-approval. Each group shall consist of 10-15 people.
3. SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE AND CRITERIA
The scholarship supports tuition, accommodation, living allowance (excluding four-week study program students) and comprehensive medical insurance.

4. APPLICATION PROCEDURES
a) Starting March 1, 2026, applicants may visit the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship section of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation website (http://www.chinese.cn)
Choose Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
b) After submitting the application on the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship website, applicants need to log in to the HUST Online Application and Service System for International Student (http://admission.hust.edu.cn/apply) to register and apply online, and upload the International Chinese Teachers Scholarship Application Form as proof for the required registration payment.
Deadlines (Beijing Time):
1. July admission: Student applications close April 15
2. September admission: Student applications close May 15
3. December admission: Student applications close September 15
4. March 2027 admission: Student applications close October 31
5. APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
a) A scanned copy of passport photo page.
b) A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK and HSKK tests (within the two-year validity).
c) A reference letter by the head of the recommending institutions.
d) A certification of the highest education diploma (or proof of expected graduation) and an official transcript.
e) Physical Examination Form (please click to download).
f) Certificate of Non-criminal Record. A certificate issued by the police station or law enforcement agency certifying that you have no previous criminal record.
g) Applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers shall provide proof of employment as well as a reference letter by the employer.
h) Applicants under the age of 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.
6. REGARDING IN-SERVICE CHINESE LANGUAGE TEACHERS AND CHINESE BRIDGE WINNERS
a) In-Service Chinese Language Teachers
In-service Chinese language teachers applying for any scholarship category may submit proof of employment and a recommendation letter from their employer. These applicants will be given priority over equally qualified candidates.
b) Chinese Bridge Winners
Applicants who have been awarded the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate in various Chinese Bridge competitions should log in to the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website and submit their application materials to their target Host Institution, along with their scholarship certificate.

7. MISCELLANEOUS
A. Generally, the One-Semester Study Program and One-Year Study Program do not admit applicants who have received a similar scholarship within the past three years.
B. Applicants are required to provide true, complete, and effective application materials. Otherwise, they will be disqualified from applying for HUST.
C. Those who failed to pass the health assessment, dropped out midway and/or suspended will be deprived of scholarship.
