一、项目介绍

1.项目类别：

（1）短期汉语文化项目（1-4周）：旨在通过讲座、研讨会和实践活动等丰富的形式向学生介绍和展示中国文化和概况。

（2）常规汉语进修生项目（一学期、一学年）：根据学生的实际汉语水平，开设从入门到高级共6个层级的汉语初级（A,B）、汉语中级（C,D）、汉语高级（E,F）课程，从听、说、读、写四个方面培养学习者综合汉语交际能力；

（3）短期汉语实习项目（1-6月）：针对有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作的国际学生开设；

（4）“3+3”(汉语+企业实习)项目：三个月的汉语学习和三个月的企业实习，不仅可以帮助学生掌握基本的汉语交际能力，在短时间内了解中国文化，也可以给学生提供宝贵的实习经历。

（5）商务汉语项目：围绕商务交际中基础的话题，从听、说、读、写四个方面，综合培养学生的商务汉语交际能力；

（6）HSK考试集训课程项目：HSK各个级别及对应HSKK考试的要求、目标、注意事项以及所需具备的知识储备。

（7）交际汉语项目：帮助国际学生提高汉语交际水平，增强国际学生学习汉语和中国文化的兴趣。

2.核心课程：

（1）短期汉语文化项目（1-4周）：《汉语+专业》课程、讲座、参观等；

（2）常规汉语进修生项目:《综合汉语》、《汉语听力》、《汉语口语》、《汉语阅读》、《汉语写作》等；

（3）短期汉语实习项目（1-6月）：汉语学习、汉语教学课程、讲座、参观等；

（4）“3+3”(汉语+企业实习)项目：《基础综合汉语》、《商务汉语》、《中国概况》、《汉语视听说》、相关实习等；

（5）商务汉语项目：《商务汉语听力》、《商务汉语口语》、《商务汉语阅读》、《商务汉语写作》等；中国经济及文化系列讲座；相关实习等；

（6）HSK考试集训课程项目：HSK考试介绍，各个级别的重点词汇、语法，听力、阅读真题训练及应试技巧，模拟考试。

（7）交际汉语项目：课程覆盖16大主题，32个课时，如打招呼、寻求帮助、介绍爱好、天气和季节等基本交际内容。

备注：太极拳、书法、中国绘画、中国剪纸、中国美食等文化活动将根据相应的课程项目进行安排。

二、申请资格

1. 非中国籍人士；

2. 对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国的法律法规和学校的规章制度；

3. 身心健康，品学兼优；

4. 年龄为16-35周岁（以2025年9月1日计）；

5. 须持有效的外国护照且已高中毕业（应届毕业生可提交在读证明作为学历证明；如被正式录取，应在报到注册时提交所需的学位证书原件）。

三、申请材料

1.个人护照照片页扫描件；

2.学历证明：最高学历证书，或在读学校签发的预计毕业证明；

3.成绩单；

4.外国人体格检查表：请点击下载文件。中国境内的申请人可上传个人健康证明或居留许可；

5.无犯罪记录证明：由公安机关或执法机构签发的无犯罪记录证明；

6.资产证明：银行账户5000美元以上（国际中文教师奖学金生无需提供）。

7.未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。

备注：以上所有材料须提供中文或英文版本，中文和英文以外的文本须附中文或英文译文。

四、申请流程

申请截至时间：

- 2024年12月15日（2025年春季入学）

- 2025年6月15日（2025年秋季入学）

第二步：选择具体项目，上传申请材料，提交申请

第三步：支付申请费

备注：

1.上传的文件应清晰、完整、真实、有效，否则将不予受理；

2.在申请过程，建议密切关注系统申请状态及电子邮件状态；

3.请勿邮寄任何纸质版申请材料或通过电子邮件发送申请，不经过国际学生在线申请与服务系统的申请将不会被审核处理；

4.我校可根据情况要求申请人提供其他补充材料或对申请人进行视频面试。

五、费用信息

申请人须在完成网上申请后的7天内支付600元/100美元的申请费（恕不退还），支付方式如下：

2025 Application Guide for Chinese Language Program

HUST is a comprehensive research university under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Education. It is a participant university of the former “985” Project in China, and one of the first universities approved under the national "Double First-Class" Initiative, China’s “Excellence Initiative” for institutions of higher education, ranking among the top ten universities in China. ➭Program Introduction

1. Program Category

(1) Short-term Chinese Language Culture Program (1-4 weeks): This program aims to introduce and display preliminary Chinese culture and general situation to students through lectures, seminars and activities. Thus, students can experience China in many aspects directly and vividly and consequently get an objective and rich impression of glorious Chinese culture and ever-changing Chinese image.

(2) Long-term Chinese Language Program (one semester/year): This program offers multiple-level Chinese learning from A to F to meet the needs of international students from elementary level (A, B), intermediate level (C, D) to advanced level (E, F). This program will improve students’ communication ability of comprehensive Chinese language from listening, speaking, reading and writing.

(3) Short-term Chinese Internship Program (1-6 months): This program is very suitable for international students who are learning Chinese in their universities and intend to improve their Chinese proficiency in China. They are expected to do the relevant work in Chinese language education.

(4) 3+3 Program (Chinese Language +Internship) consists of two parts, 3-month Chinese learning and 3-month enterprise Internship in Chinese companies, which can not only help students master basic Chinese communication skills and understand Chinese culture in a short time, but also provide students with valuable internship experience.

(5) Business Chinese Program: This program focuses on basic topics in business communication. Through relevant courses from listening, speaking, reading and writing, learners could master the basic business communication ability in Chinese.

(6) Intensive Training Program for HSK Test: This program aims at helping students understand the requirements, purpose, instructions and knowledge reserve of HSK test.

(7) Communicative Chinese Program: To help international students improve their Chinese communication skills and enhance their interest in learning Chinese and Chinese culture.

➭Core Curriculum

(1) Short-term Chinese Language Culture Program (1-4 weeks): Chinese + courses, lectures, visits, etc.

(2) Long-term Chinese Language Program (one semester/year):  Comprehensive Chinese, Chinese Listening, Oral Chinese, Chinese Reading, Chinese Writing, etc.

(3) Short-term Chinese Internship Program (1-6 month): Chinese Language learning and teaching courses, lectures, visits, etc.

(4) 3+3 Program (Chinese Language + Internship): Elementary Comprehensive Chinese, Business Chinese, Chinese Panorama and Chinese Speaking & Listening, etc.

(5) Business Chinese Program: Business Chinese Listening, Business Chinese Speaking, Business Chinese Reading, Business Chinese Writing, etc.; Lecture series on Chinese Economy and Culture; Related internship, etc.;

(6) Intensive Training Program for HSK Test: Introduction to HSK test; teaching of the key vocabulary and the normal grammar rules; all types of questions of HSK test and their answering techniques, mock tests.

(7) Communicative Chinese Program: The course covers 16 major topics and 32 class hours, such as greeting, asking for help, introducing hobbies, weather and seasons and other basic communication content.

Note: Tai Chi, calligraphy, Chinese painting, Chinese paper-cutting, Chinese food and other cultural activities will be arranged accordingly.

➭ Eligibility

a) Be a non-Chinese citizen;

b) Be friendly to China, have no criminal record, abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of the Host Institution;

c) Be in good physical and mental health, be in good academic and behavioral standing;

d) Applicants must hold a valid foreign passport and have graduated from high school (Fresh graduates can provide a pre-graduation certificate during application, and provide graduation certificate before registration);

e) Be aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2025.

➭Documents Needed for Application

a) A scanned copy of passport photo page

b) Academic Certificate: official certificate of your highest education or the official document of enrollment issued by the current institution.

c) Transcripts

d) Physical Examination Form (please click to download). Applicants in China can upload personal health certificate or residence permit instead.

e) Certificate of Non-criminal Record. A certificate issued by the police station or law enforcement agency certifying that you have no previous criminal record.

f) Financial Certification/Bank Statement, 5000 USD or above (No need for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship students).

g) Applicants under the age of 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.

Note: All application documents must be in Chinese or English edition. Documents issued in the third language should be translated in Chinese or English editions.

➭Application and Admission Procedures

Application Closing Dates:

- Dec 15th, 2024 (2025 spring intake)

- June 15th, 2025 (2025 autumn intake)

Log in to the online application system at http://admission.hust.edu.cn/.

Step 2.

Choose a program, upload the required documents, and submit your application.

Step 3.

Pay for the application fee.

Note:

(1) The documents uploaded should be clear, complete, true, and valid. Incomplete or false applications will be rejected.

(2) Please check the status of your admission process and the admission package tracking number through the International Students Application System or emails.

(3) Application documents delivered in hard copies or sent by email will not be accepted. Only online application through International Students Application System will be reviewed by HUST International Admission Committee.

(4) Applicants may be required to provide supplementary documents or take online interviews accordingly.

➭Fees

Application Fee: 

Applicants shall pay the application fee (non-refundable) of 600 CNY/100 USD in 7 days upon completing online application successfully by:

Tuition Fee:
