光谷 Ganggu (Optical Valley)
品尝热干面 Tasting Hot Dry Noodles (a popular Wuhan local food for breakfast)
The afternoon of 13 Sep, students of Chinese Class A1 who was guided by their teacher went to the Optical Valley for tasting Hot Dry Noodles for the sake of experiencing Wuhan’s lifestyle and feeling wonders here.
As they assembled at the south gate, all of them praised highly of the sculpture of Chairman Mao. “Before I came to China, I’ve heard the story of him”, stated by one of them. Then they all came to the Optical Valley. Tong Liya, a Russian girl could not stop taking photos when she saw the exotic street in the Spanish style street, “I wanna take pics for these beautiful scenes sending to my family to let ‘em know how happy life in China and there is no need to worry about me”, said by Tong.
After their tour in Optical Valley, they all gathered to Cai Lin Ji “Passing Noon”(having lunch) for tasting Hot Dry Noodles, Wuhan’s most famous food. Ni Huayu from Philippine was so excited that he said ”Hai Kuo Yi” in awkward-pronunciation Chinese, which made all patrons there laughing.
9月13日下午，汉语生A1班学生在老师的带领下一起逛光谷，品热干面。体验武汉人的生活，感受大武汉的魅力。
在南大门集合的时候，大家看到毛主席雕像，都禁不住点头称赞。“来中国之前，我就听说过他的故事！”随后，大家一起前往光谷。在西班牙风情街看到异国情调的街景，俄罗斯的佟丽娅忍不住按动快门，“我要将这美丽的风景发送给远方的家人，告诉他们她在中国的生活很开心，请他们不要担心。”
逛完光谷，大家还一起到蔡林记“过午”，品尝武汉名吃—热干面。来自菲律宾的倪华育用不太标准的汉语说：“还可以。”逗得店内食客哈哈大笑。（罗雯 撰稿）

去往喻家湖的路上 On the way to Yujia Lake
温暖的大家庭 A warm and big family
The afternoon of 9 Sep, students of Chinese Class A2 who was guided by their teacher went to the Yujia Lake which has an exquisite scenery for fall excursion. Apart from enjoying the magnificent scenery, they also had a class meeting.
On the way to Yujia Lake, students were taking every chance to ask their teacher for “What’s this or What’s that”, they were also elated saying “Ni Hao”(hello) to every passers-by. When they arrived to the lake, all of them were sitting on the ground and started to introduce themselves in Chinese, Yu Yuliu, one student who came from Vietnam, was called Old Bro for his age was 42. In the game round, Kong Yiming from Democratic Republic of the Congo revealed an excellent “Super Model” show for them and making a big laugh with saying “It’s so glad to learn Chinese with all of you guys”
This meeting was dubbed “Double-Nine Meeting” by classmates, not only it’s really an impressive experience but there is an implied meaning that the friendship among students in Class A2 will last long forever.
9月9日下午，汉语生A2班的留学生们在班主任老师的带领下，一起去风光旖旎的瑜珈湖秋游，除了感受山水之间的快乐，还进行了一次别开生面的班级建设。
一路步行至喻家湖的途中，学生抓住每个机会问老师“这是什么，那是什么？”，还兴致高昂和行人愉快地说“你好！”。来到湖边，大家席地而坐，用汉语来起了自我介绍，大家亲切地称呼42岁的越南学生余玉流为“大哥哥”。在游戏环节中，来自刚果（金）的孔一鸣同学为大家进行一场精彩的“超级模特”秀，引来大家捧腹大笑。“很开心能和你们在一起学习汉语。”
同学们开玩笑称这次活动为“九九会议”，不仅会令他们久久难忘，更寓意A2班同学友谊长长久久! （徐清清 撰稿）
