Notice on clearing and removing abandoned vehicles
To All International Students:
In order to better organize the parking, make full use of public parking resources, and create a more beautiful campus, HUST will clear all abandoned vehicles in the public areas from Sept. to Dec. of 2020. The related notice is as follows:
1. Identification of abandoned vehicles
Bicycles and electric vehicles that are parked in public areas of the campus, with broken bodies, dusty, flat tires, severely rusted parts, and the vehicles parked for long time without the owner are regarded as abandoned vehicles.
2. Vehicles in such places to be cleared
(1) The ones are parking in student dormitories, apartment areas, teaching and studying places, and teachers’ living areas.
(2) The ones are locked on the public facilities, such as wire poles, light poles, guardrails, signs and trees.
(3) The ones are discarded on the green belt , the firefighting access, the main roads, and where obviously affects the environment of campus.
(4) The ones that are banned by Wuhan government due to exceeding the legal limit on urban roads .
3. Storage, clearing, and removing of the abandoned vehicles
The vehicles to be cleared will be kept at a public notice area for no less than 15 days, after which they will be cleared up and taken out of campus.

关于清理校内废旧车辆的通知
全校师生员工：
为了美化校园环境，规范停车秩序，充分利用校园公共停车资源，拟于2020年9月、12月分两批对校园公共区域内遗弃的废旧自行车和电动车进行集中清理。现将相关事项通知如下：
一、废弃车辆的认定标准
停放在校园公共区域内，车身残破、落满灰尘、轮胎没气、机件严重锈蚀等长期无人使用的自行车、电动车视为废弃车辆。
二、清理废弃车辆的范围
（一）学生宿舍、公寓区域、教学科研行政大楼、家属区的车辆；
（二）锁在学校电线杆、路灯杆、护栏、指示牌、树木等公共设施上的车辆；
（三）丢弃在学校绿化带、消防通道、主要干道、以及明显有损校容的车辆；
（四）武汉市政府规定的严禁在市区道路行驶的超标车辆。
三、被清理车辆的存放与清运
被认定清理的废弃车辆将会划定公示区，集中存放不少于十五天，之后将陆续处理并清运出校园。
