关于评选优秀留华毕业生的通知

全校各院(系)、各位国际学生：

为表彰一批科研成果显著和表现优异的国际学生，树立知华、友华、爱校、荣校的国际学生成才典型，学校将在2020届毕业生当中开展“优秀留华毕业生”评选工作。现将有关评选事宜通知如下：

一、评选条件

（一）基本条件

1. 全日制在校学习国际学生（含本科生、研究生）；

2. 严格遵守中国的法律法规和学校的各项规章制度，无违法违纪记录；未受到过任何处分或处罚，未损害学校声誉；

3. 明礼诚信，积极向上，具有团队协作精神；

4. 勤奋学习，学风端正，成绩优良（平均成绩不低于80分）；

5. 科研研究态度端正，无学术不端行为；

6. 每学期按时缴纳学费并完成注册，无不良纪录；

（二）必备条件

毕业生必须同时符合至少以下条件之一：

1. 在校期间在国际、国内重要学术期刊（B类以上）上发表论文1篇及以上；

2. 曾获得校级以上单位的表彰或奖励，为学校赢得了荣誉；

3. 促进了学校与其他机构或国家的教育交流与合作；

4. 毕业论文获得了校级及以上优秀论文荣誉。

二、评选程序

1. 学生申请：学生应于5月23日之前填写并向国际学生办公室（邮箱：iso_admin@hust.edu.cn）提交《华中科技大学优秀留华毕业生信息表》，且需附上相应的支撑材料；

2. 院系推荐：各院系综合学生的综合表现和考试成绩，对学生提交的申请材料予以审核和推荐，确定候选人（本科生须经由院系辅导员初步审核并提出推荐意见，研究生须经由学生导师初步审核并提出推荐意见），并于5月28日前向国际学生办公室提交推荐名单；

4. 国际教育学院组织评审并报学校审批；

5. 公布获奖学生名单并颁发荣誉证书。

三、相关要求

超过规定时间的，不予受理。

国际教育学院汇总分类将学生申请材料分发至相关院（系），由相关院（系）出具评审意见，并提交推荐名单。

学生提交的支撑材料如果为高水平论文的，其期刊的级别应由院（系）在《审批表》说明。

各院（系）要坚持公平、公正和公开的原则，认真组织好优秀留华毕业生评选工作。

Selection of HUST Honorary International Graduates of 2020

Dear International Graduates of 2020,

In order to honor international students for their academic achievement and contributions during their study in HUST, the university will select and award HUST Honorary International Graduates among 2020 graduates. The notice is hereby announced as follows:

1. Qualification

1.1 Basic Qualification

a) HUST registered degree students (undergraduates and postgraduates);

b) Good discipline record. No record of punishment and never undermine the university’s reputation.

c) Honest, devoted to university and friendly to China;

d) Diligent and well-disciplined at study, good GPA (80 and above)

e) No academic misconduct；

f) Pay tuition on time every semester. No violation to registration regulations;

1.2 Prerequisites

International students should meet at least one of the requirements below:

a) Published at least one paper on international and domestic top journals (B level and above) during study;

b) Received university/provincial/national award and won honors for university;

c) Promoting education exchange and cooperation between HUST and other institutions/countries;

d) Graduation thesis won the honor as excellent thesis at school level or above;

2. Selection Procedure

a) Complete and submit the information form with supporting materials to ISO (e-mail address: iso_admin@hust.edu.cn) before May 23, 2020 (SCHOOL+ STUDENT ID Number shall be mentioned);

b) Qualification checked and recommended by the school;

d) Get evaluated by the university selection committee;

e) Decision shall be announced by the university in June.

3. Relevant Requirements

If the supporting materials submitted by students are high-level papers, the level of their journals should be confirmed by their supervisors according to relevant documents of school and university.
