Research Interest

I am a junior investigator in the field of infectious disease epidemiology, and also a practicing general internist. My interdisciplinary research lies at the nexus of translational and operational evaluation, traditional epidemiology, early warning prediction, and mathematical modeling. My primary interests are: (1) TB and TB/HIV: My greatest research passion is evaluating the implementation and incidence and mortality rates of TB public health in China, with particular focus on people living with HIV/AIDS in low-income Hubei, China. I combine methods from traditional epidemiology to study the clinical effect under highly active anti-retroviral therapy (HAART) in A1DS patients and for improving the curative effect and prognosis. (2) Infections disease of early warning prediction.(3) Translational epidemiology. (4) Clinical epidemiology. (5) Epidemiology meta-research. (6) Teaching and mentorship:
