Research Interest

Dr. Lan received her B.S in 1996 and Ph.D in 2003 from Shenyang Medical College and China Medical University (under the supervision of Prof. Zhuguo Pei). She then moved to Union Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology for postdoctoral program (under the mentorship of Prof. Yongxue Zhang), and joined Union Hospital in 2006. During the postdoctoral training, she was promoted to Associated Professor in 2005 in Union Hospital. From 2008 to 2009, Dr. Lan had two quick postdoctoral programs at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). In 2010, Dr. Lan was promoted as Professor and Chief Physician in Union Hospital. Now, Dr. Lan is the associate director of Department of Nuclear Medicine and PET Center of Union Hospital, Vise-chairman of Young Professional Committee of Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Lan mainly works on the diagnosis of PET/CT and SPECT images. She also has much interest on scientific research on molecular imaging, especially on reporter gene imaging and multimodality molecular imaging. She has gained some important foundations from government, for example, National Natural Science Foundation of China (four items), Natural Science Foundation of Hubei Province of China for Distinguished Young Scholars, etc.
