Academic Areas: Division of Nephrology

Research Interest

Our work focuses on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying substrate transport in the kidney tubules. SGK3 is a serine-threonine kinases, which regulates a variety of cellular processes, abnormalities in these signaling pathways can result in decreased bone density and severe phosphaturia.
