2021 2rd Winter Holiday Theme Activity Successfully Held

On January 29th, the second online theme activity of 2021 winter vocation for Medical International Students was held as scheduled. Teachers and students were active in sharing their own experiences concerning the Covid-19 pandemic.


Ms. Zhou from School of International Education firstly introduced the new normal of Japan under the pandemic, and believed Chinese power has gained great success within short time after comparing the differences of government responses between Japan and China during the pandemic.

PhD student JAMAL AHMAD SALEEM ALSHORMAN is now in his country Jordan, and he told his own story of evacuation from Wuhan to Jordan at the beginning of Covid-19 outbreak and was thankful to the government’s cooperation.

PhD student AHMAD ASHFAQ shared his life in China during Wuhan lockdown, and was grateful to the school’s endeavors in easing their pressure both in life and psychologically.

MALIK ABDULKADHIM OLEIWI AL-SAEDI is a master student from Iraq, and he explained the situation in Iraq from the start of pandemic till now and appreciated the Chinese government’s medical assistance to his country.

Master student DIAN FRANCIS SAVELLANO from Philippines offered a new angle to view the Covid-19 pandemic in a positive way. And master student YIM WAI YEN comes from Malaysia, and he introduced the pandemic in Malaysia, shared his experience in Shenzhen in China during lockdown and marveled at Chinese speed and Chinese power in combating the pandemic.


The event came to an end with warm discussions and blessings among students. With the coming Chinese New Year, the teacher wished students a happy new year and looked forward to reuniting with everyone on campus soon in the future.
