Chinese Culture Activities Held for Chinese Language Students in April

Class A1: On April 22th, students from A1 climbed the Yu Jia Mountain. Some students found some carved Chinese characters in a pavilion, which interested them a lot. Everyone shared the joy and laughter which made the tour enjoyable and memorable.

 

                                
Class A2: In the afternoon of April 1st, teacher taught students from A2 to make dumplings. After learning they made various shapes of dumplings. Then they boiled dumplings together and ate together, not only they appreciated the unique food culture in China, but also the activity deepened the feelings between teacher and students.

 

                                 

Class B1: In the afternoon of April 12th, students from B1 learned Chinese calligraphy in D5. The teacher taught them to write 永, and then they learned to write Chinese characters they had learned before. All were very interested in Chinese calligraphy.

 

                                 

Class B2: Recently, the temperature in Wuhan increased gradually. The weather was so fine, how can students missed the great spring. On April 10th, taking the advantage of the weekend students from B2 organized a trip to the botanical garden. While enjoying the beautiful plants, they also studied the Chinese names of the plants, such as cuckoo, kiwi, mint and so on.

 

                                

Class B3: Tai Ji has always been attractive to Chinese language students. On April 5th, students from B3 learned Tai Ji under the teacher’s guidance in the east playground. Student 贾密 from the Republic of Iraq repeatedly ask the teacher for action advice, regardless of his hand injury. The students all learned very hard, although very tired but also very happy.

 

                                

Class B4: After students from B4 has learned calligraphy last time, on April 15th they open a new journey of Chinese art – Chinese painting. Chinese painting and calligraphy are consubstantial; through the activity the students experienced Chinese brush and ink art.

 

                                

Class C1&C2: Students from A1, C1 and C2 went to MA ‘Anshan Forest Park to play and barbecued together. Several students turned into Xinjiang professional grill masters, they grilled lamb skewer, chicken wings and vegetables, and everything went so well.

                               
Students who carried guitar played live and attracted crowds of onlookers, lit up the palace. Although it began to drizzle in the afternoon, but did not block the enthusiasm of the students.

 

                               

Class D: Nunchakus-associated with Kung Fu superstar Bruce Lee’s-attract students very much. On April 13th, students from D led by professional teacher and experienced Chinese martial art – nunchakus. They learned some nunchakus actions and how to worship the master.
