On the afternoon of April 2nd, the school of International Education and the Security Office conducted a safety inspection of the international students’ apartments on the main campus and Tongji Campus.

Professor Ma Rong, Party Secretary of the School , identified that to cultivate excellent international students , the school should provide meticulous service.

Professor Zhou Liping, Dean of the School, emphasized that most of international students live alone in apartments, their mental health should be concerned about. Apartment facilities should be inspected regularly and maintained in time.

The university pays more attention to the safety of students' living environment and property. Personal belongings blocking the fire channel, illegal use of high-power electrical appliances, disorderly wire, dirty room environment and other safety hazards were found during this inspection. Apartment management team are required to carefully make inspection records, follow-up regular visits and spot checks, and strive to create and maintain a clean, warm, harmonious and safe apartment environment.

Security Office, Zhongchu, Dantian and Tongji Property Management company, teachers and international student coordinators from relevant departments participated in the safety inspection. (Yang Xiaoyi)
