12月14日下午，我校与德国乌尔姆大学成功举办“问学华中大”国际学生招生海外合作院校第六场宣讲会。德国乌尔姆大学国际处负责人Julia Vogt-Hochheimer，以及德国师生参与此次活动。
On the afternoon of December 14th, the 2022 "Discover at HUST" Online Promotional Session for Global Partners—sixth session for Ulm University (UULM), Germany, was successfully held. Julia Vogt-Hochheimer, in charge of outbound mobility program of Ulm University, and students from UULM attended the session.
我院招生与对外合作办公室主任严薇从综合实力、国际排名、学科优势、社会服务、校园环境、特色项目等方面对我校进行了全面展示，并介绍了我校与乌尔姆大学等德国高校的合作情况。在宣讲会上，乌尔姆大学学生对我校的交流项目表现出浓厚的兴趣，纷纷询问有关边境管控、防疫政策、课程设置等相关问题，严薇一一进行了耐心解答。
Ms. YAN Wei, from School of International Education, HUST, gave a detailed introduction to the university development history, comprehensive ranking, discipline construction, social service, campus environment and “Discover at HUST” online programs. She introduced the cooperation between HUST and UULM and other top universities in Germany. In Q&A part, students from UULM showed great interest in our exchange programs and asked questions about immigration policy, Covid-19 prevention measures, international curriculum, and etc. Ms. Yan Wei answered their questions in details.
德国乌尔姆大学成立于1967年，该校的光电、集成电路设计、微电子等学科位于世界领先水平，经济数学专业在德国排名第一。 2022年泰晤士报世界排名第146位。我校与德国乌尔姆大学有悠久的合作历史，两校于1987年签署了交流合作协议，并在数学、医学、物理学等专业领域开展合作。2018年，我校与德国乌尔姆大学建立国际合作联合实验室。今年10月，双方共同举办HUST-UULM中德量子传感与量子测量国际联合实验室双边线上研讨会。近年来，该校已陆续派出20余名乌尔姆大学交换生到我校交流学习。
Founded in 1967, UULM has been playing a leading role in the fields of optoelectronics, integrated circuit design, microelectronics and many other disciplines. The major of economic mathematics of UULM ranks No.1 in Germany. According to 2022 TIMES Ranking, UULM ranks 146th in the world. HUST and UULM have a long history of cooperation. In 1987, HUST and UULM signed cooperation agreement to promote collaboration in the fields of mathematics, medicine and physics, etc. In 2018, the two universities established a joint laboratory for international cooperation. In October, 2021, the HUST-UULM International Joint Laboratory Online Seminar on Quantum Sensing and Quantum Measurement was co-organized by the two parties. So far, UULM has sent more than 20 students to HUST for exchange study.
