On November 4, 2014, The students from European and Asian countries had their information security technology training course ceremony commencing in our friendship apartment on the third floor conference room. Senior experts of Investment and development from Tajikistan, international information science and technology park from Mongolia, chief engineer from the Macedonia IT department, director of the ministry of transportation and other officials attended the training.
Ms. Xiao-Feng Zhao, Vice Dean of School of International Education produced a heart-warming speech, in her speech she addressed the students from different countries, warmly welcomed them, briefly spoke about the school’s credentials, challenges and measure taken place to rid the school of its challenges and wished the students a pleasant study.
On the 11th , there was a program for the students in the Electronic Decision Theater at College of Public Adminstration . The teacher, Ms. Yang Qing gave an extensive and insightful presentation. The students, were curious and apparently showed much interest in the presentation explored the equipment area which has its display screen constituting eight enormous screens being merged seamlessly, a high-definition three-dimensional display, a 240-degrees coverage around the column and life-like picture. The students were given an opportunity to ask questions. Some of which were concerning technical support, custom products and prices. They all showed great enthusiasm and interest.
On the 19th an arrangement was made in the morning for the students to visit the School of Optical and Electronic Information, National Engineering Laboratory for Next Generation Internet Access System, director Tom Lau, the professor gave a remarkable lecture.
On the 21st which was not only the end of the two-week training course but also the beginning of the graduation ceremony, students appeared very excited. Mr. Lan, who is in charge of admissions, gave a detailed introduction about scholarship programs and hoped the graduates may have a chance to study in China again. Daniel from Kyrgyzstan and also a representative of the foreign party expressed his deepest gratitude to Huazhong University of Science and Technology, their teaching staff and students for their warm welcome and help. Certificates of completion were awarded to the students and four outstanding students were awarded "the most honorable mention".
This has been the fifth project that the School of iInternational Education has undertaken. It organizied students to visit the history museum, software park, Wuhan city planning exhibition hall , etc and offered lectures from famous enterprises such as Huawei Company and Chengdu SanLing technology co. The school also arranged some Chinese cultural courses, for example Chinese calligraphy, paper-cut, pack dumpling, etc.

国际教育学院副院长赵晓峰出席开班仪式,在讲话中对来自各国的学员表示热烈欢迎。她简要介绍了我校的整体情况和学科优势，并预祝学员们在华学习愉快。
11日上午，学员来到公管学院电子决策剧场参观学习。在杨晴老师详细的解说下，学员参观了设备区及视屏展示区。八通道无缝连接、高清立体背投、240度环绕柱幕，逼真的画面效果，让在座学员惊叹不已。交流环节，学员在技术支持、定制产品、价格询问等方面积极提问。
19日上午，学校安排学员参观了光电信息学院下一代互联网接入系统国家工程实验，实验室主任刘德明教授作讲座。
21日上午，为期2周的培训班结束。校方老师不仅对学生关心的奖学金政策作了详细介绍，也希望他们有机会再来学校学习。来自吉尔吉斯斯坦的丹尼尔作为外方代表发言，他感谢学校、老师和学生团体对他们热情接待和帮助。学员被授予结业证书，4名优秀学员被授予“最优秀奖”证书。
国际教育学院已连续4次承办该项目。本次培训班还组织安排学员参观了校史馆、光谷软件园、武汉市规划馆等，还邀请中国著名企业如华为、中信和成都三零普瑞科技有限公司等技术骨干来校讲座。同时，还加入了学员感兴趣的中国文化课程，包括中国书法、剪纸、包饺子等。
