中非创新合作中心：
2018年，中国国家主席习近平在中非合作论坛北京峰会开幕式上强调携手打造新时代更加紧密的中非命运共同体，倡议实施产业促进、设施联通、贸易便利、绿色发展、能力建设、健康卫生、人文交流、和平安全等“八大行动”，明确将支持设立中非创新合作中心作为实施能力建设行动的主要内容。
2020年，中国科学技术部正式批复湖北省人民政府牵头建设中非创新合作中心，这是全国首个以“创新合作中心”命名布局建设的国家级国际区域合作平台，并于2021年2月18日正式揭牌成立。
At the opening ceremony of 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized that we worked together to build a closer community of common destiny between China and Africa in the new era. It was proposed to implement the “Eight Initiatives” of industrial promotion, facility connectivity, trade facilitation, green development, capacity building, health and hygiene, people-to-people exchanges, peace and security. It clearly supported the establishment of China-Africa Innovation Cooperation Center (hereinafter referred to as CAICC) as the main content of the implementation of capacity building action.
In 2020, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China officially approved Hubei Provincial People’s Government would lead the construction of CAICC, which is the first national-level international regional cooperation platform named after “innovation cooperation center” in China. It was officially unveiled on February 18, 2021.
