国际学生才艺与中文演讲大赛（初赛）通知
为丰富校园国际文化氛围，促进中外文化交流互鉴，展现国际学生留学风采，华中科技大学国际教育学院将举办2026“环球之星”国际学生才艺与中文演讲大赛，由学生国际交流协会提供支持。本次比赛设置才艺展示、中文演讲双赛道，即可展示本土特色艺术、演绎中华传统文艺，也支持以中文讲述在华留学感悟，现面向全校国际学生正式招募参赛选手。
To enrich the international cultural atmosphere on campus, promote cultural exchanges and mutual learning between China and foreign countries, and showcase the study abroad talents of international students, the School of International Education of HUST will hold the 2026 "Global Star" International Student Talent and Chinese Speech Contest, with the support of the Students’ International Communication Association. This competition features two tracks: Talent show and Chinese speech. It not only showcases local characteristic art and interprets traditional Chinese literature and art, but also supports sharing experiences of studying in China in Chinese. We are now officially recruiting contestants from all international students of the school.
一、参赛对象 Eligibility
全体在校国际学生，双赛道仅限择一报名，不可兼报。
All enrolled international students. Participants may only sign up for one track and cannot register for both.

三、赛道简介及参赛要求 Competition Tracks & Requirements
赛道一：艺术才艺赛道
本赛道主题分为两大类别，参赛舞台表现力强，贴合中外文化交流、留学成长主题。其中中华传统文化类节目为重点推介类别，评分予以额外加分。
1、主题方向（二选）
（1）中华传统文化类（重点推荐）
聚焦中国传统文艺形式，涵盖但不限于：中国舞蹈、武术、古筝、二胡等传统乐器演奏；经典中文歌曲、古风歌曲、戏曲选段演唱；书法展演、国风情景剧等创新国风节目。
（2）世界多元文化类
聚焦参赛学生所属国家、民族的特色文艺，涵盖各国民族舞蹈、本土乐器演奏、外文歌曲等，充分展现世界文化多样性，体现跨国文化魅力。
2. 参赛要求
1.可个人参赛或2人及以上多人组队；
2.表演时长：3-6分钟，超时适当扣分；
3.内容真实原创，杜绝抄袭、套作，内容积极正向；
4.可搭配PPT或背景视频辅助展示。
赛道二：中文演讲赛道（重点推荐）
以个人中文脱稿演讲为形式，聚焦在华留学体验、中外文化交流感悟为核心，真挚语言讲述留学故事、表达文化认知、传递中外友好心声，展现国际学生良好的中文素养与积极的留学风貌。
1、主题方向（二选一或融合）
留学感悟类：我眼中的华科校园、我在中国的留学成长与收获等，体现专业学习特色；
文化交流类：我与中华文化的相遇、中外文化的碰撞与交融、我是中外文化交流使者等。
2、参赛要求
（1）单人全程中文脱稿演讲，语言流畅、发音标准、情感真挚，贴合主题；
（2）演讲时长：3-5分钟，超时适当扣分；
（3）内容真实原创，结合个人真实留学经历，杜绝抄袭、套作，观点积极正向；
（4）可搭配PPT或背景视频辅助展示。
Track 1: Art & Talent Track
This track features two thematic categories. Entries shall demonstrate strong stage performance and align with the themes of cultural exchange between China and foreign countries as well as overseas study growth. Programs featuring traditional Chinese culture are highly recommended and will receive extra scoring points.
1. Theme Categories (Choose One of Two)
(1) Traditional Chinese Culture (Highly Recommended)
Focus on traditional Chinese performing arts, including but not limited to: Chinese ethnic dances, Wushu, instrumental performances on traditional Chinese instruments such as guzheng and erhu; renditions of classic Chinese songs, ancient-style Chinese music, and opera excerpts; calligraphy showcases, original Chinese-style stage dramas and other innovative traditional Chinese performances.
(2) Global Diverse Cultures
Highlight distinctive artistic forms from the contestants’ home countries and ethnic groups, covering national dances, indigenous instrumental performances, foreign-language songs, etc. Entries shall fully showcase the diversity of world cultures and the charm of cross-cultural communication.
2. Entry Requirements
（1）Individuals or teams of 2 or more participants are eligible to sign up.
（2）Performance duration: 3–6 minutes. Points will be deducted moderately for overtime performances.
（3）All content must be authentic and original; plagiarism and derivative works are prohibited. Entries shall convey positive and uplifting values.
（4）PPT slides or background videos may be used to assist presentation.
Track 2: Chinese Speech Track (Highly Recommended)
This track features individual impromptu Chinese speeches centered on overseas study experiences in China and insights into China-foreign cultural exchange. Contestants shall share genuine overseas study stories, express cultural perceptions, and convey sincere goodwill between China and the world, showcasing international students’ proficient Chinese language skills and positive overseas study demeanor.
1. Theme Categories (Choose One or Integrate Both)
（1）Overseas Study Insights: My Life on Huazhong University of Science and Technology Campus, My Growth and Gains from Studying in China, and other topics highlighting academic specialties.
（2）Cultural Exchange: My Encounter with Chinese Culture, Collision and Integration Between Chinese and Foreign Cultures, I Am an Ambassador for China-Foreign Cultural Exchange, etc.
2. Entry Requirements
（1）Individual contestants must deliver a complete off-script speech entirely in Chinese, with fluent expression, standard pronunciation, sincere emotion, and close alignment with the chosen theme.
（2）Speech duration: 3–5 minutes. Points will be deducted moderately for overtime speeches.
（3）All content must be authentic and original, based on contestants’ real overseas study experiences. Plagiarism and derivative works are prohibited, and viewpoints shall be positive and progressive.
（4）PPT slides or background videos may be used to assist presentation.
四、奖项与福利 Awards & Benefits
两大赛道分别设置一、二、三等奖及优秀奖，所有获奖选手纳入学校国际学生文艺与宣讲人才储备库，优先推荐参与校级展演、对外文化交流及宣讲赛事。
Awards including First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize and Excellence Award will be set for both tracks. All winners will be included in the university’s international student talent pool for art and public speech, and gain priority to participate in campus galas and external cultural exchange events.
五、报名事宜 Registration
报名方式：扫描二维码填写报名表，选择对应赛道完成报名
作品征集：即日起至2026年9月30日，线上投递视频参加初赛。
1、每位选手/团队仅限选择一个赛道报名参赛，不得重复参赛。
2、各赛道内容均需积极健康，无低俗、消极、不当导向内容，贴合文化交流与留学成长主题。
3、参赛作品、演讲稿为原创或合规演绎，杜绝抄袭、侵权，如有违规直接取消参赛资格。
4、选手自备服装、道具、伴奏音乐、背景视频。
5、投稿视频统一为横屏，1080P及以上画质，画面清晰稳定无抖动。

Call for Entries
Submit your videos online for the preliminary round from now until September 30, 2026.
1. Each individual contestant or team may register for only one track and is prohibited from entering multiple tracks.
2. All entries across every track must be positive and wholesome, free of vulgar, negative or inappropriate content, and aligned with the themes of cultural exchange and overseas study growth.
3. All submitted videos and speeches must be original or lawfully adapted. Plagiarism and copyright infringement are strictly forbidden; any violation will result in immediate disqualification.
4. Contestants shall provide their own costumes, props, backing music and background footage.
5. All submitted videos must be shot in landscape orientation with a resolution of 1080P or higher, featuring clear, stable footage with no shaking.
