关于开展华中科技大学2024届优秀留华毕业生评选的通知

各院系/各研究生培养单位：

为表彰一批科研成果显著和表现优异的国际学生，树立优秀国际学生成才典型，根据《华中科技大学国际学生(本科生)先进个人评选办法（校外〔2021〕17号）》、《华中科技大学国际学生（研究生）先进个人评选办法（校外〔2021〕18号）》，决定评选2024届优秀留华毕业生。现将有关事项通知如下：

一、评选对象

2024届全日制普通本科留华毕业生；2024届暑期毕业留华研究生（2024年6月毕业的留华研究生）。

二、评选条件

（一）参评优秀留华毕业生基本条件

1. 全日制在校注册的国际学生；

2. 严格遵守中国的法律法规和学校的各项规章制度，无违法违纪记录；未受到过任何处分或处罚，未损害学校声誉；

3. 明礼诚信，乐于奉献，知华友华；

4. 勤奋学习，学风端正，成绩优良（平均成绩不低于80分）；

5. 学习态度端正，无学术不端行为；

6. 通过毕业论文答辩，有资格获得毕业证和学位证。

（二）申请优秀留华毕业生必备条件

申请优秀留华毕业生应符合以下参评条件之一：

1. 在校期间获得过一项校级奖励或者荣誉称号；

2. 获得校级以上单位的表彰或奖励，为学校赢得了荣誉；

3. 促进了学校与其他机构或国家的教育交流与合作；

4. 开展了其他有助于学校发展或提升学校知名度的活动；

5. 毕业论文获得过校级及以上优秀论文荣誉。

三、评选程序

优秀留华毕业生荣誉称号依照“学生申请、院系推荐、专家组评审、领导小组复审、校长办公会议审定”程序评定。

1. 4月7日-4月14日，学生申请阶段，学生应于2024年4月14日前登录国际学生在线申请与服务系统（http://admission.hust.edu.cn/apply/login）提交个人申请。

2. 4月15日-4月30日，院系评审推荐阶段，导师（辅导员）和院系应于4月30日前在国际学生在线申请与服务系统（ http://admission.hust.edu.cn/a）中确认学生申请信息，经学院党政联席会通过后完成评审推荐。推荐名单经院（系）党政联席会通过后，须在本单位进行不少于5个工作日的公示。

3. 5月1日-5月9日，国教院组织评审阶段，国际教育学院将组织专家组对优秀留华毕业生候选人进行评审。优秀留华毕业生评审结果将在全校范围内进行不少于5个工作日的公示。

4. 5月20日-5月24日，优秀留华毕业生名单通过学生奖助工作领导小组审议，提请校长办公会审定。

四、其他注意事项

1. 评选过程中，申请人必须严格按照要求提交支撑材料，不按要求提交或提交错误、虚假信息的，将视为无效申请。院系严格按照公平、公正、公开原则评选，

Notice Regarding Selection of HUST Honorary International Graduates of 2024

Dear international students,

In order to commend international students with outstanding scientific research achievements and excellent performances, and to establish a model of excellent international students, School of International Education will carry out the selection of "HUST Honorary International Graduates" among the 2024 graduates. The relevant selection matters are hereby notified as follows:

1.Eligibility

International students who will graduate in June, 2024.

2.Qualification

2.1 Basic Qualification

a) HUST registered degree students;

b) Good discipline record. No record of punishment and undermining the university's reputation.

c) Honest, devoted to university;

d) Diligent and well-disciplined at study with an average score of 80 or above;

e) No academic misconduct;

f) Passing thesis defense and qualified to apply for the Degree Certificate.

2.2 Essential Qualification

International students should match at least one of the conditions below:

a) Receiving at least one award or honorary title on the university level during the schooling period；

b) Receiving provincial/national award for the honor of the university;

c) Promoting international cooperation between HUST and other institutions;

d) Awarded as university/provincial/national excellent graduation thesis holder.

2. Review Process

a) Applicants should log in (http://admission.hust.edu.cn/apply/login) to submit the application with supporting materials before 24:00 on April 14, 2024;

b) Qualification checked and recommended by the school before April 30, 2024.

c) ISO will organize review and submit the results to the university for approval before May 9, 2024.

d) The winner list will be announced and certificates will be awarded.

3. Important Points

Applicants must submit corresponding supporting materials as requested. If the student does not submit as required, or submit incorrect or false information, the application shall be considered as invalid.
