Dear all HUST Chinese language students,

2016年毕业安排及秋季入学如下，请大家注意。

Please pay attention to the graduation arrangements of Spring Semester in2016 as follows. 

1、学习延长

本学期学习结束，而下学期欲继续学习者（以录取通知书为准），须于6月15至6月25日之间到办公室领取纸质申请表。

考试不及格和出勤或表现较差的学生不能申请学习延长。

A. Schooling Extension

For students whose study duration on admission notice finishes in July 2016, you are requested to collect and submit the new application form in the office between June 15 to June 25 if you want to study Chinese for the next semester.

Students who fail examination, who have unsatisfactory performance or attendance will be in the blacklist and will not be admitted by our university for the next semester. 

2、 成绩单和相关证书

汉语生在我校结束学习后，可以获得成绩单和相关证书。其中，通过各项汉语考试者才能获得结业证书，未通过者只能获得学习证明，离校者需同时提交《华中科技大学外籍校友联络表》和《华中科技大学离校通知单》。

注：

若想获得成绩单及相关证书,一定要在规定时间内申请，否则不能领取成绩单及相关证书。(制证需校办公室盖章，留学生办公室需提前准备相关材料）

学生本人因特殊原因不能领取成绩单或相关证书者，可以委托其他同学领取。被委托人需要向办公室提供委托人的护照复印件和委托人亲笔签名的授权信。

被取消考试资格者不能领取成绩单和相关证书。

B.  Transcript and Certificate

Students who will finish Chinese learning at HUST could get transcript and certificate. Those who pass all exams could obtain Certificate of Completion(结业证书), otherwise you can only obtain Study Certificate(学习证明). Students who will leave HUST and not return are supposed to submit HUST Alumni Registration Form and HUST Deregistration Form for International Students in the meanwhile.

Note:

You have to appy for transcript and certificate if you want to get them, otherwise your certificate would not be made.(The certificate has to be stamped by the university office rather than ISO, which takes time.)

 If you can’t take it on your own for acceptable reasons, you can ask someone as the trustee to handle it. In this case, the trustee need to submit the following materials. 1) A letter of Authorization written by you (it is important to give clear indication of the trustee with your signature) 2) A copy of your passport.

Students who are not eligible to take final examination cannot acquire transcript or certificate.

3、  签证/居留许可

继续学习者，应该在离校前办理签证/居留许可延长手续。

自费生须在2016年6月28日之前缴纳下一学期的学费方可办理延长手续。（自费生只能按学期缴纳学费。）

中国政府奖学金生（汉语补习）须提交HSK证书，然后办理延长手续。

由于延长签证/居留许可需要至少15个工作日，请大家提前办理相关手续。

C.  Visa/Residence Permit Extension

Students who will continue to study at HUST could get their Visa/Residence Permit extended before leaving HUST for summer vacation.

Self-supported Students are requested to pay the tuition fee (before June 28, 2016) for next semester before extending Visa/Residence Permit.

Chinese Government Scholarship students are requested to submit HSK certificate before extending Visa/Residence Permit.

Since it will take at least 15 working days for immigration office to get your Visa/Residence Permit extended, you have to schedule your time well and do it in advance.

4、  生活费

中国政府奖学金生于6月20-26号来办公室签字时需要带上HSK和HSKK成绩,否则不能签字。6月20日下午3:00，所有中国政府奖学金将在国际学生活动中心（友谊公寓）开会。

孔院奖学金生（一学年）须凭回国机票或火车票签领2016年7月的生活费。

7月1日之前回国的奖学金生(以上两种皆含）将没有7月份的生活费。

D.  Living Allowance

Chinese Government Scholarship students are supposed to take HSK and HSK transcripts with them when signing up for living allowance between June 20 to 26 in the office, otherwise they can’t obtain the living allowance for June. There’s a meeting at 15:00 on June 20 for all Chinese Government Scholarship students and everyone is required to attend it.

Confucius Institute Scholarship students (one-year) are supposed to submit airplane/train tickets (back to motherland) when signing for living allowance of July 2016.

The scholarship students of both kinds mentioned above can not leave HUST before July 1, 2016, otherwise they will not obtain living allowance for July 2016.

5、 宿舍

继续学习者，可以保留暑假期间的学生宿舍。

结束学习者，需于6月15至25日期间，至少于离校前3天提交《华中科技大学留学生离校通知单》和《华中科技大学外籍校友联络表》（或到留学生办公室领取），然后按照规定的程序办理退房等结业手续。

孔院奖学金生（2016年7月毕业）的房间必须于2016年7月31日之前退房。

E. Dormitory

Students who will continue to study Chinese at HUST could have their form reserved during the 2016 summer vacation.

Students who will finish learning Chinese at HUST are requested to submit HUST Registration Notice for International Student and HUST Alumni Registration Form at least3 days before they leave HUST(between June 15 - June 25) in the office and complete the related graduation procedures like checking tuition payment status, checking out from the dorm etc.

Confucius Institute Scholarship students (graduate in July 2016) are requested to check out from the dorm before July 31, 2016.

6、  结业典礼

2016年春季汉语生大会暨结业典礼将于2016年6月15日下午3:00在友谊公寓国际学生活动中心举行。所有汉语生都应该参加。

F.    Graduation Ceremony

The Graduation Ceremony for HUST Chinese Language Students of Spring Semester in 2016 will be held at 15:00, June 15,2016 (Wednesday) in the International Student Activity Center of Friendship Apartment(3rd floor). All the Chinese language students are requested to attend the graduation ceremony.
