➭ Program Introduction

In order to welcome international students and faculties from around the world, to conduct academic study and research collaboration in China, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) is now welcoming visiting students and scholars from all over the world to attend academic and research activities with full scholarship at our beautiful campus based in Wuhan! This schorlaship is under China Link Scholarship Program fully funded by China Scholarship Council (CSC) .

➭ Program Scheme

1. Funding Categories

General Scholar: 

  applicable to current undergraduates or master students. 

  Be under 45 years of age when applying.

Senior Scholar: 

  applicable to current Ph. D students or faculties. 

  Be under 50 years of age when applying.

2. Duration

  1-12 months

  Start study or research at HUST no later than August 31, 2027.

3. Working Language

  English or Chinese

4. Study/Research Fields:

  All disciplines other than Chinese language study.

➭ Funding

Successful applicants will receive a full scholarship from CSC during their stay at HUST, including a tuition waiver, free on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance and monthly stipend (CNY 3,000 for general scholars; CNY 3,500 for senior scholars).

➭Eligibility

1. Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and be in good health, both mentally and physically.

2. Be registered as a full-time student or employed as a full-time academic staff at CSC’s foreign partner universities at the time of application and throughout their proposed stay in China.

➭Application Process

1. Applicants should contact HUST (vivianyan@hust.edu.cn) to obtain invitation letter as the first step.

2. Applicants should log into the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login) to complete CSC online application and upload supporting documents. Please be noted that HUST agency number is 10487.
