My name is Laila Noureen. I got my PhD in Chemistry from School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China in 2021.

It gives me great pleasure to send warm congratulations to HUST on its 70th anniversary. It is remarkable that our university has achieved so much in these years, I am particularly impressed by the excellent reputation of some of our disciplinary expertise in areas such as physics, chemistry, computer science, mechanical engineering, and many others which are among the best in the country and worldwide. The various contributions that one continues to make our understanding of these fields of study are noted and appreciated nationally and internationally.

我很高兴在此祝贺华中科技大学建校70周年。值得一提的是，近年来学校取得了巨大成就，尤其是在物理、化学、计算机科学、机械工程等学科方面享誉全球，学校在这些领域的研究和贡献获得国内外的一致关注和好评。

I would take this opportunity to also note the admiration and gratitude that I have for the school of chemistry and chemical engineering and best wishes on its 40th anniversary. It provided me a great opportunity to learn and explore my expertise. I believe it’s the sincere cooperation and assistance of my professors and lab mates (ZHU’s group@HUST) during my PhD that gives me the confidence to design research projects independently.

我还想借此机会，在化学与化工学院成立 40 周年之际，表达对学院真挚的感谢和美好的祝愿。博士在读期间，是学院为我提供了学习和探索专业知识的机会，教授的指导和同学的帮助（朱教授团队）也让我对独立完成研究充满信心。

I would extend my gratitude and respect for all professors, school coordinators and everyone I came across during my tenure at HUST. I regard everyone as an accomplished leader as well as a sincere friend. I have no doubt that University will achieve even more in forthcoming years with contribution of staff, faculty, students, and alumni.

我想对教授、辅导员以及在学校遇到的每一个人表示感谢和尊敬。在我看来，他们既是我的领路人，也是我真诚的朋友。在所有员工、教师、学生和校友的共同努力下，我坚信学校未来将取得更大的成就。
