Language Students Experienced An Extraordinary Trip to Chinese Culture

On April 19th, the language students from Class B2 took a visit to Hubei Provincial Museum and Art Gallery, in order to know Chinese culture better.

Inside the quiet museum, students seemed to be brought back to the ancient past, and enjoyed themselves in the romantic and mysterious atmosphere of Chu State. And also, they found the trip to the Art Gallery very interesting, they even forgot the time to go back. “This is a very meaningful trip, and I enjoy it very much, thank you!” said by a student from Mongolia.

On the afternoon of April 9th, the students from Class B3 held a Chinese song contest in the central playground.

In this contest, everyone showed their beautiful singing voice, many familiar songs like Little Apple, Long Time No see, Jasmine are heard, and the contest embraced the end in the show performed by Pan Xiaolong and Zheng Jun.

“You ask me how deeply I love you, how much I love you…”, beautiful voice came from a classroom of East No.9 Teaching Building. Oh, the students of C1 and C2 were learning to sing the famous Chinese song The Moon Represents My Heart.

 

With teacher’s help, the international students sang this song in high spirits. They watched musical video of this song in different versions, when they heard the foreign singer’s version, they became much more excited and sang together in a low voice.
