On January 17, 2013, a fire safety inspection to Friendship Apartment, Bojingge and Hongjia 2nd Apartment was jointly carried out by Yujiashan Police Station, Security Office and International Student Office.

Using of luminous heater and socket with low quality was found through the inspection. The Office patiently explained the potential dangers of using those appliances and provided users with temporary keeping service. Fire hazard was efficiently removed by the inspection.

With the aim of firmly guaranteeing the safety of international student dormitory, the Office decided to carry out the inspection in a regularly way and reinforce the education of fire prevention. For your personal safety and belongings, students are highly suggested abide by all the regulations about using electricity in dormitory.

我校留学生公寓进行节前消防安全检查

2013年1月17日，留学生办公室会同武汉市公安局洪山分局喻家山派出所和学校保卫处，同时对友谊公寓，宏嘉二号楼和柏景阁三处留学生公寓进行节前消防安全检查。

通过检查发现，部分宿舍存在违章使用劣质插座和发光式取暖器现象。对于可能带来火险隐患的电器，我们都耐心向学生做出解释，劝说其停止使用并提供暂代保管服务。检查及时有效地消除了一批火灾隐患。

为确保留学生宿舍消防安全，办公室决定将此项检查工作常态推行，并不断加强对学生的消防宣传，也希望同学们严格遵守宿舍规定，确保人身财产安全。
