The summer vacation of 2023 is from July 1 to August 24. In order to strengthen the management and service of all international students including new international students who will register for the autumn semester of 2023, we hereby inform you of the arrangement of summer vacation and the registration for new international students of 2023 as follows:
The International Student Office hours of operation during 2023 summer vacation:
Office hours:
8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. , 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.July 5 - August 23, 2023 (Monday through Friday)

Welcome centre, School of International Education, 1st floor
Information for students who are graduates of 2023:
1.Students who have graduated should complete the dormitory check-out and deregistration and leave the school before July 31, 2023.
2.If you are admitted or hired by any institution after you graduate from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, you need to ask the institution that accept or hire you to help you apply for your visa/residence permit. Our university will not be responsible for your new visa/residence permit after your current visa/residence permit expire on July 31, 2023, and we will not be providing accommodations after you leave school by July 31, 2023.
3.Collection of graduation certificate and diploma is not available during the summer vacation. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Abby at xiaoyi_yang@hust.edu.cn.
4.The credentials verification on CHSI usually should be done by July 31. If you have issues related with the verifications, please contact Ms. Wu at yuqingwu@hust.edu.cn
Information for students who are enrolled and currently inside China:
1.International students who live on campus during the summer vacation must pay attention to fire safety, do not illegally use high-power electrical appliances. You still have to register with the dormitory office if leave the campus for more than two days. Those who travel to visit relatives must abide by laws and regulations, strengthen personal prevention, beware of fraud, drowning and other accidents, and ensure the safety of life and property.
2.During the summer vacation, Visa/residence permit service will be processed during July 24-28 ONLY, the detailed information will be published on the ISO website, for any related issues, please contact Ms.Yuming at philophilos@hust.edu.cn.
3.Self-supporting students who need to pay the tuition,needs to get the payment account information from ISO building first floor. Accommodation fees can be paid directly at the dormitory office.
4.To check out during the summer vacation, students should apply to the dormitory office and wait for the approval of the property management center. No need to visit the International Student Office.
Information for students who are returning to China from overseas(including new students):
The university will manage the students according to rules and regulations. We will not accept applications from families of students.

关于2023年暑假放假及新生报到的通知
全体国际学生:
2023年暑假放假时间为7月1日-8月24日,为加强国际学生暑期管理和服务,做好2023年秋季学期工作安排,现将暑假安排及2023年秋季学期国际学生报到相关事宜通知如下:
一、国际学生办公室值班安排
1. 时间:2023年7月5日-8月23日,周一至周五,上午8:30-11:00, 下午15:00-17:00
2. 地点:华中科技大学国际教育学院
二、中国境内国际毕业生须知
1. 国际学生毕业、结业的,应当在2023年7月31日前办理退房、离校手续并离校。
2. 国际学生毕业后被中国境内其他单位接收继续学习或工作,应由接收单位按规定办理居留证件,在过渡时期,华中科技大学不办理居留证件,不提供住宿。
3. 暑假期间不领取毕业证书和学位证书,如有问题请联系杨晓奕老师, xiaoyi_yang@hust.edu.cn。
4. 学信网认证一般在7月31日之前完成,如有特殊情况请联系吴雨晴老师,yuqingwu@hust.edu.cn。
三、中国境内在读国际学生须知
1. 暑假期间校内住宿的国际学生务必注意消防安全、不得违规使用大功率电器,出入校园两天以上的需要在公寓值班室登记备案;外出探亲旅游的,务必遵守法律法规,加强个人防范,谨防诈骗、溺水等事故,确保生命财产安全。
2. 暑期放假期间居留许可延长的集中办理时间为7月24-28日,具体通知将于近期发布于ISO网站,请保持关注。如有特殊情况请联系杨雨鸣老师,philophilos@hust.edu.cn。
3. 自费生缴纳学费和住宿费的,学费缴纳需先到国际教育学院大厅咨询学校账户,住宿费直接到公寓缴纳。
4. 暑假期间学生退房直接在公寓登记,物业部门核实后方可退房,无需到ISO办理手续,暑假期间不办理换房业务。
四、境外国际学生来华返校须知
学校按照有关规定办理境外国际学生来华返校工作,不办理学生家属来华事项。
五、2023年秋季入学新生须知

账户密码:和申请时的帐号与密码一致;对于未使用过此系统的学生(如A类),将于8月15日之前通过邮件通知帐号与密码;
操作指南:系统8月15日开放后在系统下载;
