HUST has been keeping luggage for graduates who have issues of coming back to China since 2020. In accordance with the requirements of fire protection and epidemic prevention, in order to ensure the safety of student apartments, the following notice is issued for the disposal of remaining luggage of graduated international students. The details are as follows:

Ⅰ. The due date of luggage storage:

Each apartment can store luggage for free until 28th Feb 2022. In the meantime, ISO would appreciate your cooperation. Here are suggested ways to sort out your luggage:

1. The students can authorize others to take away the luggage.

2. If students confirm that their personal belongings are no longer needed, they can authorize the apartment staff to dispose them.

3. You can ask the apartment staff to help pack the luggage and send them back to your country, related fees need to be paid by students.

*For the above three solutions, the following documents must be provided to your apartment staff: authorization letter, passport copies of yours and the authorized person.

 

Ⅱ. Overdue baggage disposal method:

1. After 28th Feb 2022, all the luggage will be disposed if there is no reply from the students about their luggage.

2. If the students still want to keep their luggage stored in the apartment, please authorize the apartment staff to help keep it, but the apartment will start to charge storage fees from 1st March 2022, the details about storage fees will be negotiated.

关于已毕业国际学生滞留行李处置的通知

 

2020年以来，学校一直为滞留境外的国际学生免费保管行李。根据消防和卫生防疫的要求，为了确保学生公寓的安全，现就已毕业国际学生滞留行李的处置通知如下：

一、继续免费存放时间：

各公寓将为已毕业学生暂时免费保管滞留行李至2022年2月28日。在此期间，希望学生能配合进行处理。处理办法如下：

1. 请学生委托相关人员取走行李。

2. 如学生确认个人物品可以丢弃，请授权公寓工作人员帮忙处置。

3. 境外学生可以请公寓提供帮助、打包寄回自己的行李，相关费用由学生本人承担。

以上三种方案均需提供如下资料：授权书、授权人和被授权人的护照复印件。

二、逾期行李处置办法

1. 2022年2月28日之后，如果没有收到如何处理滞留行李的回复，各公寓将直接清理掉所有滞留行李。

2. 如果学生确定滞留行李仍需保留在公寓，请授权公寓工作人员帮忙整理保管，从2022年3月1日开始，各公寓将收取行李滞留保管费，费用标准另行协商。
