In order to enable more international students to experience the fun of dragon boat sport and experience the Chinese culture of unity, friendship and courage, the School of International Education and the School of Physical Education will hold the 2nd International Student Dragon Boat Friendship Race in the near future.

Before the official dragon boat race, we specially arrange an English lecture on dragon boat sport and dragon boat culture to help everyone better understand dragon boat, a traditional Chinese water sport. During the lecture, we will start the registration for the dragon boat race on the spot. Students who are interested in participating in the dragon boat race must be present to attend the lecture. The specific information of the lecture is as follows:

Topic: Dragon Boat Culture in China - Dragon Boat Class at HUST

Speaker: Ms. DING Chen, Lecturer of Dragon Boat Culture Inheritance Base at HUST

Time: November 18, 2021 (Thursday) at 6:30 pm

Location: 3rd floor of the Welcome Center (the original Friendship Canteen on the east side of Building 8)

关于举办华中科技大学第二届中外学生龙舟友谊赛的通知

为了丰富第二课堂活动，传承慎终追远、团结友爱、奋勇争先的中华文化，国际教育学院联合体育学院将于近期举办第二届中外学生龙舟友谊赛。

为了组织好本次龙舟赛，我们特意安排了关于龙舟运动和龙舟文化的英文讲座，以帮助同学们更好地了解龙舟这一中国传统水上体育项目。讲座当天将在现场启动龙舟比赛的报名工作，欢迎大家踊跃参加。讲座具体信息如下：
