Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) is a top-ranking and national key university under the administration of the Ministry of Education, P. R. China. HUST is one of the first universities approved under the national “985”& “211” Project and "Double First-Class" Initiative in China. Eighty-five percent of the international students are registered in the English-medium programs.
The 2024 application for HUST starts on October 15th, 2023. Please check the application guide below:
➭Eligibility
a) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports.
b) The home university of Applicant should have signed student exchange agreements (still valid) with HUST.
c) Applicant should be recommended by the home university and in the nomination list before application.
➭Duration
The study duration for student exchange programs should be in accordance with the nomination letter issued by the home university and the signed student exchange agreements.
➭Application and Admission Procedures
Application closing date:
December 20, 2023 (2024 Spring Intake)
June 15, 2024 (2024 Autumn Intake)

Log in to the online application system at http://admission.hust.edu.cn/.
Step 2.
Choose a program, upload the required documents, and submit your application.
Note:
The documents uploaded should be clear, complete, true, and valid. Incomplete or false applications will be rejected.
Please check the status of your admission process and the admission package tracking number through the International Students Application System or emails.

Including educational background, work experience, and publication list if available.
5.Study Plan/Research Proposal
Not required for the applicants for the Chinese Language Program.
6.Language Proficiency Certificate
· English Medium:
-TOEFL 80 or above;
-IELTS 6.0 or above;
-Other certificates of the same proficiency level which are accepted by HUST;
-Or the previous degree education was instructed in English.
· Chinese Medium:
-HSK 4 score 180 or above for programs of Science, Engineering and Medicine;
-HSK 5 score 180 or above for programs of Economics, Management, Literature, Education, Philosophy, Arts and Law.
-Or the previous degree was instructed in Chinese.

9.Certificate of Non-criminal Record
A certificate issued by the police station or law enforcement agency certifying that you have no previous criminal record.
Note: All application documents must be in Chinese or English edition. Documents issued in the third language should be translated in Chinese or English editions.

2024年华中科技大学校际交流项目招生简章
华中科技大学是国家教育部直属重点综合性大学，是国家“211工程”重点建设和“985工程”建设高校之一，是首批“双一流”建设高校。根据2023年U.S NEWS和TIMES最新排名，华中科技大学在全球高校排名中稳居世界前200名。
学校占地7000余亩，园内树木葱茏，碧草如茵，环境优雅，景色秀丽，绿化覆盖率72%，被誉为“森林式大学”。学校学科齐全、结构合理，基本构建起综合性、研究型大学的学科体系。学校拥有哲学、经济学、法学、教育学、文学、理学、工学、医学、管理学、艺术学等10大学科门类，85%的国际学生选择英文授课项目。学校从上世纪六十年代初开始招收国际学生，七十年来已经为全世界160多个国家和地区培养各类留学生逾10000人。
2024年华中科技大学国际学生招生工作于2023年10月15日正式启动。请查看校际交流项目招生简章：
一、招生对象
1.申请者应为持有有效护照的非中国籍人士;
2.申请者所在学校须与我校签署校际交流协议（有效期内）。
3.申请者须在申请前获得所在学校提名。
二、学习期限
申请者的学习期限应以合作院校的提名信为准，且与两校签署的协议内容一致。
三、申请流程
申请截至时间：
2023年12月20日（2024年春季入学）
2024年6月15日（2024年秋季入学）

选择具体项目，上传申请材料，提交申请
备注：
上传的文件应清晰、完整、真实、有效，否则将不予受理。
在申请过程，建议密切关注系统申请状态及电子邮件状态。
四、申请材料:
1.由派出学校出具的提名信
2.学习证明：学生就读高校出具在读证明
3.成绩单
4.简历：教育背景，工作经历，论文发表情况（如有）
5.学习计划/研究方案（申请汉语进修生项目无需提供）
6.语言能力证明
· 申请英文授课项目者，需提交相应英语水平证明：
-托福80及以上，雅思6.0及以上;
-或我校认可的其他语言证书；
-或前置学历学位教育为英语的证明材料。
· 申请汉语授课项目者，需提交汉语水平考试HSK相应等级证明：
-申请理学、工学、医学等学科专业，需提供HSK 4级180分及以上证书；
-申请经济学、管理学、文学、教育学、哲学、艺术、法学等学科专业，需提供HSK 5级180分及以上证书；
-或前置学历学位教育为汉语，无需提供汉语水平证明。
