01/申请条件
1.非中国籍人士；
2.对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度；
3.身心健康，品学兼优；
4.有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作，具有HSK成绩；
5.年龄为16-35周岁（统一以2023年9月1日计）。在职中文教师放宽至45周岁。
6.不录取护照上有X1、X2签证者。
02/申请材料
1.护照照片页扫描件；
2.HSK（有效期两年）扫描件；
3.推荐机构负责人的推荐信;
4.在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信；
5.未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。
03/奖学金资助内容及标准
奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、综合医疗保险费。具体标准详见国际中文教师奖学金网站（cis.chinese.cn）。
04/申请流程
1．2023年3月1日起，申请者可登录中外语言交流合作中心网站（http://www.chinese.cn）国际中文教师奖学金板块，申请国际中文教师奖学金(接收院校选择：华中科技大学)。
2．申请者在国际中文教师奖学金网站提交申请后，须登陆华中科技大学国际学生在线申请与服务系统（admission.hust.edu.cn）进行在线注册和申请，并上传国际中文教师奖学金申请表作为报名费支付证明。
3．在线申请的截止日期（以北京时间为准）：2023年4月15日。
*需由推荐机构组团进行报名并与我校确定在华学习计划，每团10-15人。
05/关于在职中文教师和汉语桥获奖者
1.在职中文教师
可提供就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信，免提交汉语水平考试（HSK）证书。
2.汉语桥获奖者
在各类汉语桥比赛中获得“国际中文教师奖学金证书”者，登录国际中文教师奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向目标接收院校提交申请材料。

01/ELIGIBILITY
a) Non-Chinese citizens;
b) Should be friendly to China, have no criminal record, and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the rules and regulations of the school;
c) Be healthy both physically and mentally, and with a good record of academic performance and conduct, and HSK tests results;
d) Aspiring to work in the Chinese language education and related fields;
e) Between the ages of 16 and 35 (as of September 1st, 2023). Applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers should not be over 45;
f）Applicants holding the X1 or X2 visa category are not eligible.
02/APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
a) A scanned copy of the passport photo page;
b) A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK tests (within the two-year validity);
c) A reference letter by the head of the Recommending Institution;
d) In-service Chinese language teachers shall provide proof of employment and a reference letter from the employer;
e) Applicants under 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.
03/SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE AND CRITERIA
The scholarship supports tuition, accommodation, and comprehensive medical insurance.

04/APPLICATION PROCEDURES
a) Online registration will be available from March 1, 2023 on the website of China and Foreign Countries Language Exchange and Cooperation Center “the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship”(http://www.chinese.cn).
Choose Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
b) After submitting the application on the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship website, applicants need to log in to the HUST Online Application and Service System for International Student (admission.hust.edu.cn) to register and apply online, and upload the International Chinese Teachers Scholarship Application Form as proof for the required registration payment.
C) The Application Deadlines (Beijing Time): April 15th 2023（For programs commencing in July 2023.）
*The program may be organized and applied for by a recommending institution with 10-15 participants per group. Before the trip, a detailed study plan shall be made in consultation with HUST.
05/Policies Regarding Currently Employed Chinese Language Teachers and Chinese Bridge Award Recipients
a)In-Service Chinese Language Teachers
In-service Chinese language teachers may be exempted from HSK certificates if they provide proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from the employer.
b) Chinese Bridge Winners
Applicants who have received the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate during Chinese Bridge competitions may submit their application documents along with their scholarship certificates to the Host Institutions directly at the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website.
