1. Eligibility
Applicants must hold a valid foreign passport and have graduated from high school (high school graduates can provide a pre-graduation certificate during application, and provide graduation certificate before registration);
Foreign citizens, in good physical and mental health, and with good academic performance.
2. Documents Needed for Application

(2) Academic Certificate: official certificate of your highest education or the official document of enrollment issued by the current institution.
(3) Transcripts
(4) Physical Examination Form (please download the attached file below). Overseas applications can replace this document with a personal commitment letter (please download the attached file below), and provide official document before entering China. Applicants in China can upload personal health certificate or residence permit instead.
(5) Certificate of Non-criminal Record. A certificate issued by the police station or law enforcement agency certifying that you have no previous criminal record. Overseas applications can replace this document with a personal commitment letter (please download the attached file below), and provide official document before entering China.
(6) Financial Certification/Bank Statement, 5000 USD or above (No need for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship students).
(7) Applicants under the age of 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.
Note: All application documents must be in Chinese or English edition. Documents issued in the third language should be translated in Chinese or English editions.
3. Application and Admission Procedures

Choose a program, upload the required documents, and submit your application.
Note:
(1)The documents uploaded should be clear, complete, true, and valid. Incomplete or false applications will be rejected.
(2)Please check the status of your admission process and the admission package tracking number through the International Students Application System or emails.
(3)Application documents delivered in hard copies or sent by email will not be accepted. Only online application through International Students Application System will be reviewed by HUST International Admission Committee.
(4)Applicants may be required to provide supplementary documents or take online interviews accordingly.
4. Fees
Application Fee: Applicants shall pay the application fee (non-refundable) of 600 CNY/100 USD in 3 days upon completing online application successfully by:

7. Program Introduction
(1) Program Category
Chinese Language Student Program: This program offers multiple-level Chinese learning from A to F to meet the needs of international students from elementary level (A, B), intermediate level (C, D) to advanced level (E, F). This program will improve students’ communication ability of comprehensive Chinese language from listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Business Chinese Course Program: This program focuses on basic topics in business communication. Through relevant courses from listening, speaking, reading and writing, learners could master the basic business communication ability in Chinese.
Intensive Training Course for HSK Test: This program aims at helping students understand the requirements, purpose, instructions and knowledge reserve of HSK test.
Teaching Mode: Online and offline teaching will be provided simultaneously. (The final teaching mode will be determined according to specific situation. Please follow further program notification.
Note: The class will be cancelled once there are not enough applicants. The university will organize placement test after enrollment and guide the students to choose the corresponding course.
(2) Main courses：
Chinese Language Student Program: Comprehensive Chinese, Chinese Listening, Oral Chinese, Chinese Reading, Chinese Writing, etc.
Business Chinese Course Program: Business Chinese Listening, Speaking, Writing and Reading; a series of lectures on Chinese economy and culture; relevant internship, etc.
Intensive Training Course for HSK Test: Introduction to HSK test; teaching of the key vocabulary and the normal grammar rules; all types of questions of HSK test and their answering techniques, mock tests.
Cultural Activities: Tai Ji, Calligraphy, Chinese Painting, Chinese Paper-cut, Chinese Cuisine, etc. will be arranged accordingly.

2023 年国际学生汉语进修生招生简章
一、申请资格
1.须持有效的外国护照且已高中毕业（高三应届毕业生可提交在读证明作为学历证明；如被正式录取，应在报到注册时提交所需的学位证书原件）；
2.身心健康，品学兼优。
二、申请材料
（1）个人护照
（2）学历证明：最高学历证书，或在读学校签发的预计毕业证明；
（3）成绩单
（4）外国人体格检查表：请下载文末附件。境外无法入境的申请人可用个人承诺书（请下载文末附件）替代，在入境前补交正式体检表；中国境内的申请人可上传个人健康证明或居留许可；
（5）无犯罪记录证明：由公安机关或执法机构签发的无犯罪记录证明。境外无法入境的申请人可用个人承诺书（请下载文末附件）替代，在入境前补交正式无犯罪记录；
（6）资产证明：银行账户5000美元以上（国际中文教师奖学金生无需提供）。
（7）未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。

七、项目介绍
1. 项目类别：
（1）汉语进修生项目：根据学生的实际汉语水平，开设从入门到高级共6个层级的汉语初级（A,B）、汉语中级（C,D）、汉语高级（E,F）课程，从听、说、读、写四个方面培养学习者综合汉语交际能力；
（2）商务汉语项目：围绕商务交际中基础的话题，从听、说、读、写四个方面，综合培养学生的商务汉语交际能力；
（3）HSK考试集训课程项目：HSK各个级别及对应HSKK考试的要求、目标、注意事项以及所需具备的知识储备。
授课方式: 线上线下相结合（各项目将酌情确定采用线下或线上授课形式，请随时关注项目通知。）
备注：开班人数不足时，班级可能会被取消；学校将在学期初将安排汉语水平测试，根据学生的成绩进行分班。
2.主要课程：
