The Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) Business Chinese Program aims to help international students improve their business-related Chinese communication ability and employment competitiveness in China.

The program includes listening, speaking, reading and writing classes which will be taught by a team of specialized teaching staff from the Center for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, HUST. Students can learn more about Chinese language and culture, as well as business etiquette, in this program.

Students who complete all the required courses and pass the examination will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by the Center for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, HUST. The outstanding students will also be recommended to apply for an internship or a job in renowned Chinese companies.

4. Application Criteria

The applicant should:

① graduate in July, 2020 with a master's or doctoral degree;

② currently be in China (mainland);

③ hold a residence permit/visa which expires no earlier than July 15, 2020;

④ be between 18 and 40 years old;

⑤ be in good health;

⑥ have a non-criminal record.

Chinese companies would be invited to give lectures (online combined with in-person) to international students regularly according to the actual situation of COVID-19 prevention and control in Wuhan. Students would also be organized to visit companies if COVID-19 should be contained.

8. Registration and Accommodation Arrangement

The registration time will be determined according to the COVID-19 prevention and control situation in Wuhan. Students will receive online learning before official registration in-person on campus. They could be housed in the international students' apartments after their arrival at HUST.

9. Preferential Policies

HUST will purchase medical insurance for students, and the insurance will be valid for the whole duration of the program.

华中科技大学国际商务汉语项目

招生简章

华中科技大学国际商务汉语项目旨在帮助国际学生提高商务汉语水平及在华就业竞争力。

项目由我校对外汉语教学中心优质汉语教师团队授课，课程内容包括听、说、读、写四大模块。学生在学习期间能进一步了解中国语言文化，熟悉商务文化礼仪。课程实用性强，着重提升学生的商务汉语应用能力。

按规定修完全部课程，并通过考核的学生，将获得由华中科技大学对外汉语教学中心颁发的结业证书。对于学习优秀者，将优先推荐申请中国知名企业的实习或工作岗位。

根据武汉市疫情防控实际情况，将定期邀请在汉企业来校进行宣讲（线上与线下相结合）。疫情防控条件允许时，将组织学生到相关企业参观。

学校根据疫情防控工作进展，统一安排报到时间。学生来校报到前，统一进行线上授课。

学生来校后，可安排入住华中科技大学国际学生公寓。
