关于妥善国际学生滞留行李处理的通知

全体国际学生：

受新冠肺炎疫情的影响，部分学生不再返回中国，造成行李滞留在公寓或出租房内。为帮助国际学生解决现实困难，国际学生办公室将采取以下措施协助处理滞留行李：

1. 各国际学生公寓分别提供免费的寄存场地，专门用于本公寓国际学生滞留行李的存放；

2. 柏景阁将提供免费的寄存场地，用于校外租房国际学生滞留行李的存放；

3. 公寓管理部门会对所有滞留行李编号管理，存放时间截止2020年7月15日。

注意事项：

1. 所有滞留行李的整理、打包、运输由国际学生本人自行安排，国际学生办公室和公寓部门不提供打包、运输和寄送回国服务；

2. 学生本人可以书面授权自己的同胞或同学帮忙打包、寄存、寄送回国。被委托人提供有学生本人签字的授权书给公寓部门，在确认信息正确后，公寓部门方可为其开门。打包或寄存工作必须一次性完成。

3. 滞留行李的整理、打包、运输过程中，如发生遗失、破损、或处理不当等问题，由学生本人和被委托人自行商量处理。

4. 除寄存费用外，行李滞留产生的相关费用，由国际学生本人承担。

当前，校园和公寓仍处于封闭管理状态，校外学生不能进入校内。建议有寄存需求的国际学生，提前做好委托等相关准备。待校园和公寓管控措施调整后，国际学生办公室会第一时间通知。

Notice on the Assistance for Stranded Luggage of International Students

May 3, 2020

To all international students:

Due to COVID-19, some students may no longer return to China, causing luggage stranded in apartments or rental rooms. To help international students solve practical difficulties, ISO will take the following measures to assist in the handling of stranded luggage:

1. Each international student apartment will provide free storage space, which will be specially used for the storage of international students' stranded luggage in the apartment.

2. Baijingge apartment will provide free storage space for the stranded luggage of off-campus international students.

3. The apartment property company will manage the stranded luggage by serial number until July 15, 2020.

Precautions:

1. The sorting, packing and transportation of stranded luggage shall be arranged by the international students themselves. ISO and Apartment do not provide packing, domestic or international transportation services.

2. Students can authorize their compatriots or friends to help with packing, domestic or international transportation. The entrusted person should be provided with an authorization letter signed by the student. After confirming that the information is correct, the apartment staff could open the dormitory door for the entrusted person. Packing and storage must be completed in one time.

3. In the process of sorting, packing, and transporting stranded luggage, in case of loss, damage, or improper handling, the student and the entrusted person shall discuss and deal with it by themselves.

4. Except the storage fee, the relevant expenses incurred by the stranded luggage shall be borne by the students themselves.

Currently, the campus and apartments are still under closed administration, and off-campus students cannot enter HUST. International students with storage needs are advised to prepare for entrustment in advance. After the campus and apartment control measures are adjusted, ISO will notify as soon as possible.
