Recruitment of Student Apartment Management Assistant

In order to strengthen self-organization, self-management and self-service abilities of international students and achieve a better management and safer living environment of international student apartments, hereby the School of International Education in cooperation with the Student Apartment Service Department plans to recruit a group of Student Apartment Management Assistants with the details noticed below:

1. Positions

One Student Apartment Management Assistant is needed on each floor in Friendship Apartment, Bojingge Apartment, Hongjing Apartment, Tongji International Student Apartment, and Tongyuan Apartment.

One Student Apartment Management Assistant is needed in each building of Huahong International Student Apartment.

 

2. Requirements

a. Live in the international student apartments on campus;

b. Strictly abide by the laws and regulations of China and of HUST;

c. Excellent in academic performance and morally well-behaved;

d. Impartial and responsible at work;

e. Good communicative skills and ability to cope with emergency;

f. Strong sense of responsibility and discipline.

g. Be able to work for one semester and above.

 

3. Job Description:

A. Conduct safety inspection and patrol in international student apartment regularly;

B. Report abnormal conditions to the Apartment Service Department in time;

C. Facilitate the communication between international students and staff of Apartment Service Department;

D. Collect the feedback of students’ suggestion about apartment management and service;

E. Assist the Apartment Department in disposing relevant violations of laws and regulations

F. Finish other tasks arranged by the School of International Education and Apartment Service Department;

 

4. Treatment

Work Badge will be provided to the Student Apartment Management Assistants selected. For Student Apartment Management Assistants serving for more than one semester (including one semester), a volunteer certificate will be issued. For those with outstanding performance at work, commendation and certificate of honor will be awarded by the School of International Education.  

 

5. Registration Procedures

As from today, international students could acquire the Application Form for International Student Apartment Management Assistant in HUST at Dorm Office and International Student Office. Please submit it to the dorm office before 15th, June.

The School of International Education and the Apartment Service Department will hold a selection for applicants. Qualified candidates will be employed.

 

6. Discipline Requirement

If the employed Student Apartment Management Assistant violates Chinese laws and regulations or university rules, he/she will be dismissed and cannot be reemployed.

关于招募国际学生公寓协管员的通知

全体国际学生:

为做好国际学生公寓的管理,保障广大国际学生们的居住安全,强化国际学生的自我管理和自我服务能力,国际教育学院拟联合公寓物业管理部门招募一批学生公寓协管员,现将招募事项通知如下:

一、招募岗位

友谊公寓、柏景阁公寓、虹景公寓、同济学生公寓、同源公寓每一个楼层设一名协管员;

华宏公寓每一栋楼设一名协管员。

二、岗位要求

1.  在校内国际学生公寓内居住的学生;

2.  严格遵守中国法律法规和学校各项管理制度;

3.  学习成绩良好,品行端正;

4.  工作态度端正,做事认真负责;

5.  善于与人沟通,有较好的应急事件处理能力;

6.  具有强烈的工作责任感和纪律观念;

7.  能够工作一学期及以上。

三、工作内容

1.  协助对国际学生公寓区域进行安全检查和巡逻;

2.  及时向公寓物业管理部门反馈公寓安全异常情况;

3.  协助促进国际学生与公寓物业管理部门之间的沟通;

4.  及时反馈学生们关于公寓管理和服务工作的建议;

5.  配合公寓部门处置相关违纪违法行为;

6.  完成国际教育学院和公寓服务部门安排的其他工作。

四、工作待遇

选拔成为公寓协管员的,发给工作牌;对于工作一个学期及以上的,发给协管员证书。工作两个学期及以上、工作扎实、表现优秀的,国际教育学院将予以表彰,并颁发荣誉证书。

五、报名办法

即日起,学生可在国际学生办公室和国际学生公寓物业管理部门自行索取《华中科技大学国际学生公寓协管员申请表》,填写完成后,于6月15日前提交至公寓物业服务部门。该申请表也可在国际学生办公室网站(http://iso.hust.edu.cn)自行下载。

国际教育学院将会同国际学生公寓物业管理部门对申请者进行选拔。选拔合格者予以聘用。

六、纪律要求

公寓协管员违反中国法律法规或者校规校纪规定的,予以解聘,且不得再被聘任为公寓协管员。
